Newsweak neglects to mention that the Senate has not voted to accept the treaty.

Raúl Grijalva and Michael Shank - Dumbasses.
To: where's_the_Outrage?
They think national security is a winning buzzword. Because Trump has successfully used it.

Meanwhile,
Germans are instructed to not run clothes washing machines, dishwashers, stoves, ovens, dryers, electric heaters, vacuum cleaners or charge EVs or laptops between 8 a.m. and 11 a.m. They are told that will "reduce costs and CO2."

Harm's way is getting more harmful by the year, with worsening heat waves, droughts, floods, fires, and storms. Climate change poses a clear and present danger, as fires on the West Coast and hurricanes in the Southeast have illustrated in the past year. You're always going to find severe weather events that you can point to as harbingers for a theoretical global warming trend.

Sure...
Because it’s much better to drive EVs that rely on China for the rare earth elements needed to manufacture the electric motors.
After all - the fossil fuels will run out some day but the supply of rare earth elements is infinite...

fossil-fueled global warming is a complete hoax.
China and India create more pollution that we could ever hope to. Slashing our throats over “climate change” only helps China.

I see that an all night snowstorm is forecast tonight--in Savannah!
I think I saw where New Orleans also had a snowstorm.
When do you suppose Global Warming will kick in?

“Over 1 billion people are expected to become climate refugees by 2050.”
So in a nutshell Europe, Canada and the United States will be invaded by 1 billion people and we have to sit back and take it because we created the problem.
Nice logic.

Grijalva was involved with La Raza. His father was a hard-working legal immigrant from Mexico. Grijalva became a Congressman, and IMHO he should be very thankful to be in a nation in which there is so much opportunity (or at least was, until his party screwed us).

“Trump’s Embrace of Fossil Fuels Threatens National Security”
It might be true! In 75 to 100 years from now... maybe. It’ll take that long to transition to the next required infrastructure to support whatever the next latest & greatest energy’s source turns out to be.
Whatever the genius Guru soothsayers are predicting there’s one thing I’ve noticed that many have in common. They have no concept of the timeline that is probably going to dictate the implantation of their fantasies large scale.
