There have never been high winds during wildfires before.

Republicans driving SUVs caused California to burn. This is proved by Science. Anyone who says otherwise is spreading disinformation.

The official position of the Democrat party is that they will do nothing different in the future.
The fires are due to climate change.
Until climate change is reversed nothing can be done.

Yeah. I posted the link to the entire 26 minute film last Saturday.

Here is just some observations about the history of fires there.

Wind-driven firestorms are nothing new. In 1929, many of the Colony swells had taken the train to Palo Alto to watch Stanford v USC in football. A fire broke out in the home of actor John Gilbert - Brad Pitt’s character in Babylon was based on John Gilbert. This was October, so the Devil Winds were probably howling and the Colony looked then as Palisades and PCH look now. The swells came back from Palo Alto to find their beach cottages gone. And a few days later, the stock market crashed on Black Monday, That probably isn’t May Rindge grilling that man in the foreground, but her lease structure for the Colony changed when the Colony was rebuilt. MIKE DAVIS: THE CASE FOR LETTING MALIBU BURN (1998)
At least once a decade a blaze in the chaparral grows into a terrifying firestorm consuming hundreds of homes in an inexorable advance across the mountains to the sea. Since 1970 five such holocausts have destroyed more than one thousand luxury residences and inflicted more than $1 billion in property damage. Some unhappy homeowners have been burnt out twice in a generation, and there are individual patches of coastline or mountain, especially between Point Dume and Tuna Canyon, that have been incinerated as many as eight times since 1930.

Didn’t watch but a spoiler is the ending: “Thanks to the planning and preparedness of our leaders, it will never happen again. (Triumphant symphony orchestra music swells as The End appears on screen.)
