I can’t read my own cursive! I have read many old land documents and census sheets, they can be challenging.

My nephew once tried reading a note I left for him. Not thinking I wrote it in cursive. He eventually could understood what it said, but followed up with ...no one writes like that anymore.

I can’t Read my own cursive.

I’m in that same boat. I’m 76 years old, in my time schools taught writing cursive. I was never good at it, but I managed to get by.
These days the only cursive I use is my signature and that is not readable either.
Now my printing is nothing to write home about either.
