The new Republican-controlled 119th House of Representatives, convened Friday, has already fast tracked a bill that would ban men in women’s sports.
The bill was moved forward as part of the 119th rules package, which allowed 12 bills “on a glide path to a vote on the House floor without allowing for hearings or amendments, by limiting debate, and waiving all the other chamber rules,” GovTrack reported.
The Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act was reintroduced Friday by U.S. Rep. Greg Steube, a Florida Republican, along with 56 Republican cosponsors.
“This legislation allows women and girls a fair playing field in competitive sports by ensuring that school athletics comply with the Title IX recognition of a person’s reproductive biology and genetics at birth,” a news release from Steube states.
A similar bill has already been introduced twice in the House during the previous two sessions, which is why it was likely allowed to be fast tracked.
The news release states:
“In the 118th Congress, the Republican Conference listed the defense of women’s sports in the Commitment to America and passed Rep. Steube’s bill in the first 100 days of the Republican Majority by a vote of 219-203, without a single Democrat voting in favor. The Senate companion, introduced by U.S. Senator Tommy Tuberville (R-Ala.) was never brought to the floor under the Democrat Senate Majority Leader, Chuck Schumer.
In the 117th Congress, Rep. Steube and former Republican Study Committee Chairman Rep. Jim Banks (R-Ind.) filed a discharge petition for The Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act where it received 187 signatures.
The Independent Women’s Forum praise the new bill on Friday, thanking Republicans for striving to protect women on “day one of this new Congress.”
“You are sending a message to all the female athletes and their loved ones that, at long last, help is on the way. The Biden-Harris administration consistently put women’s interests last. Women and girls were told to step aside and keep quiet while their opportunities were taken by men. This travesty ends in 2025,” said Carrie Lukas, president of Independent Women’s Forum, in a news release.
How about lets just keep all sports same sex. I don’t want women in mens sports either. Lets not just be biased only one way. The stupid women who do football and then get creamed, or the guys who wont wrestle a female because shes gonna get hurt plus she takes away a spot from a guy for a feminist pr stunt, come on people.
We need the Democrats on the record opposing the bill in both the House and Senate.
Then pin the tail on the donkeys—forever.
ZERO Democrats Vote For House Bill To Protect Women’s Sports..

Plus I hope it gets Taylor Starling back on her cross country team ASAP and the tranny bastard who stole her varsity team spot booted off the team.
I agree completely that there is an issue there as well. I have two boys who wrestle and it’s just awkward to have mixed gender in a contact sport in the middle or high school level.
Well that’s just not possible with that awful Mike Johnson as Speaker. I’ve been told by several FReepers that he is a worthless rino who won’t do anything maga./s
Well think about it.
They want to ban men from womens sports because just one man on a team can hurt women, who are weaker. They are sdmitting the men are stronger and are hurting women.
So they have just given us the same logic to obviously ban women from mens sports as well. Now its one woman on teams full of men. Like if one guy on a womans team is considered dangerous to women, theres no way to justify putting a woman on mens teams.
If you are going to claim injury as the reason to ban men on womens teams, you cant aruge for putting a woman on mens teams.
As I understand the proposed legislation, it mandates people compete in sports with their own biological sex. So it should apply to banning females from male sports as well.
I dont see how this can pass constitutional muster. Maybe they can do this with women’s sporting teams and events held by public schools funded with government money, but not with private sporting teams and organizations. Plus there’s states rights.
Good, keep it up. Maintain momentum. If I were Trump, I would grant a $1,000 bonus to every lawmaker who voted to eliminate a rule or regulation, and Musk would write the checks. 😁
What does this mean: “A similar bill has already been introduced twice in the House during the previous two sessions, which is why it was likely allowed to be fast tracked.” Do only bills which have failed previously qualify for fast-track? Seems stupid.
These people are mentally ill.
Has absolutely zip to do with it.
Will Massie go along???
(These people are mentally ill.)
These people have been given over
to a reprobate mind by God
They can no longer discern
between what is right and what is wrong
Romans 1:24-32
King James Version
24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:
25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,
30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:
32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

G-d speed.
When things get complicated or confusing to the point you need a Venn diagram to attempt to decipher it, my plain old trusty standby is three simple words: “they ain’t right”
