And don’t forget, even though conservatives are still on a post-election sugar high, the Democrats haven’t gone away. I absolutely guarantee you, they’ll be putting all kinds of pressure — fame, fortune, praise, pop-culture love — on weak-kneed Republicans in 2025.
Beginning on Jan. 20, there’s going to be an open casting call for a MAGA traitor. Call him (or her) a Judas, a Brutus, or a Benedict Arnold; the fact remains that the first person to plunge a dagger into the back of Trump will be showered with candy, flowers, and wild, passionate love from the left.
And someone in MAGAville will take the bait.

Nobody cares what some pundit speculates about the future.
This is no different than the dozens of articles about what “could happen” with this Trump policy or that Trump policy put out by the left.
How about we wait and evaluate people on what they actually say and do?
The punishment comes after the crime. Creating hysteria accomplishes nothing.
Dems need a replacement for Lynn Cheney.
From the article.
“Of all the people in the MAGAverse, Elon Musk is most likely to be the Judas.
So enjoy Musk while we’ve got him in the fold, because it’s unlikely he’ll remain in our orbit very long. It’s probably a 50-50 shot he’ll be gone from MAGA by the end of 2025 — and then, if he’s willing to bankroll the Democrats in the 2026 midterms, the liberals will welcome him (and his Teslas) back with open arms.”
Totally agree.
The media still has Chris Christie and Mitt Romney to trot out there when needed.
Chris Christie trots? I don’t think Chris Christie trots.
“Of all the people in the MAGAverse, Elon Musk is most likely to be the Judas.”
Interesting. Muck is into himself totally, and he appears to believe life is all about who has the most money!
Although he might have the trots...
The first indication is their (Vivek and Elon) stand on H1B.
They support the replacement of every American IT person with a third world indentured slave.
Eyeroll
My bride and I are on the "watch what they DO" side of things.
As to "creating hysteria" accomplishing nothing, the article warns rightly:
"...even though conservatives are still on a post-election sugar high, the Democrats haven't gone away. I absolutely guarantee you, they'll be putting all kinds of pressure — fame, fortune, praise, pop-culture love — on weak-kneed Republicans in 2025."Proper response: let's not be "weak-kneed."
Since the president is not allowed to pardon “Treason Charges,” the list should be long. Milley, Joe, Hunter, ......
I disagree with the term “Judas” there. Because it’s more likely that any split - when it comes - will be due to a gentleman’s disagreement and not because of some evil plan.
Maybe it will be Musk because of the H1B thing.
Maybe it will be RFK Jr if he overreaches on regulating pharmaceuticals.
Etc.
And of course there will be some sort of split, sooner or later. Trump is trying to hire loyal and qualified people. But not mindless drones.
I think Trump will rub many wrong sooner rather than later on the Conservative side.
I would start with the ubiquitous “White House Leakers”
Get them used to getting “confidential” documents, clearly marked “not for public/media release”, that contain unusual and interesting bits, but nothing that truly matters. Yet include in each one a unique word or two.
So when one is published, you have identified a leaker.
Don’t fire them immediately, just subtly “downgrade” them to the point where they become “mushrooms” (those that live in the dark and are fed with bull____).
The higher ranking suspects are put on a counterintelligence list for monitoring. This can catch all sorts of villainy.
The name cards will change on Jan 20 but to me it’s looking like it will be S.S.D.D. I really don’t expect things to get much better in 2025 and forward.
“There is no statute of limitations for treason in the United States because it is a federal crime that can be prosecuted at any time. This is because treason is considered a serious offense, and the government is committed to prosecuting it.
Treason is defined as intentionally betraying the United States, engaging in acts of war against the country, or assisting the country’s enemies.
The punishment for treason can include the death penalty, life in prison, or five years in prison.
I was incorrect above. The president can pardon for treason.
Of course rfk, jr will overreach. He is nutty.
Elon and Vivek will be unmasked. Already happened.
That indian who wants unlimited H1b visa will be a problem
I trust stephen miller. There is only so much he can do if his boss wants to ratchet up H1b for the tech bros.
Hopefully Kash won’t be a disappointment
Vance and his cronies are the ones to watch. His cronies are deep state CIA/MIC through and through. their priorities and loyalties are NOT the same as the people of the US or Trump.
Elon=Judas
