The laws for divorce are so one sided men are avoiding marriage rather than get burned. With Governments sucking more and more air out of the room it simply becomes a losing proposition to have kids . A sad corruption of the natural order of things. You take care of the young while they are helpless, they take care of you when you become old and helpless.
I think this is the biggest factor in the U.S.

There is a monthly birth report, from which I estimated in August that the 2024 US total births will be 3,510,410, down from 3,596,017 in 2022.
The preliminary birth data shows 3,014,151 births from Jan 1 to October 31, 2024 which seems very high. But the prelim database is now showing 2,081,150 from Jan to July which would extrapolate to 4 million births. That is half a million more births than the last couple of years.

The laws are a huge issue. Compounding it is the general moral state of the modern American woman of dating/marriage age.
Great men already pay through taxes to support single mothers via the enormous welfare society built for women. Now you suggext govt will make us pay to make them single mothers? Oy.

Yup, I have two sons, and I have highly recommended and educated them on the downsides of trying to marry a woman in the United States of America. I’ve put significant restrictions in their trusts, getting married in America as a young man is just not worth it. The legal system and Society is geared to make you fail and take away your time and efforts and reward absolute psychotic women with your time and money.
Not worth it.
The social contract in America is broken.
A man can be held by the courts with risk of financial penalty and jail time to provide to a woman. Do the courts hold women accountable to their side of marriage? Do women face jail time for not being or providing their part of the marriage? No they do not.
Till women are held accountable it’s not worth the effort.
Low birth rates are a Western problem. All the countries in Europe are below replacement levels and the world at laege has reached the tipping point by some statisticians.
But no worries the Muslims are filling the voids in most places they have entered.

Obviously, I would not want to live under Sharia. But it's an effective system. In fact, Muslims in the UK live under "Sharia Councils".
