I have known for years that the online Left was losing the moral plot. But if you had told me that one day they would celebrate the slaughter of a man from a humble background in which the suspect is a swaggering rich kid, even I would have struggled to believe it. This, at root, is what the creepy idolisation of Luigi Mangione represents. Strip away all the TikTok guff about him being a modern-day Robin Hood. Ignore the apologetics of Leftish talking-heads who fantasise that Mangione has stuck it to The Man. For what we’re talking about here is the assassination of a man from a working-class family who yanked himself up by his bootstraps to become a CEO at one of America’s largest health-insurance companies. That man was Brian Thompson. He was the CEO of UnitedHealth. He was 50 years old and a dad of two. And last Wednesday he was gunned down in Manhattan, allegedly by Mangione.

This is not a left/right issue. This is not communism vs capitalism. The shooting victim was a scammer, not a captialist. Contracts and agreements are fundamental to capitalism. If they can’t be relied on, there’s no insurance, no mortgages, no loans. United Healthcare took payments from customers for years with the promise of a payoff that often didn’t come. He should have been in jail. If he had been arrested for fraud, he would still be alive today.

Thompson was every bit as evil as Mangione. The only difference is, he hurt and murdered people in a fashion that was far more palatable. Both of these men deserved to be roasted for what is wrong with the character of men this country produces.
This is simple. When the justice system devolves and cannot restrain evil or deliver justice, then social contract is broken between citizen and society. After that, someone is liable to be coming for your ass.
THAT is the issue we need to be discussing, not cheerleading for wicked men.

Luigi is an example of the precious and entitled Grandchild™, too valuable to fight in wars or take on debt. Unlike previous generations, who were raised properly, did. His grandparents, like most, were too busy watching Beverly Hillbilly reruns to supervise the parenting.
Prison will not be kind to this rich kid. He will be told what to do and when to do it every day for the next 25 years. He wants government health care and he will get government health care in prison. If his back was hurting him before wait til he sleeps on the 3 inch thick mattress he gets in prison. Then he has to deal with the other inmates who will extort him and take his ass for their own enjoyment. Luigi isn’t going to find prison a very nice place.
Not until 2036 since he is 25 years from old. The Dems will probably go for Sanders-Pelosi the next 2 times. If he was still alive they probably would have picked OBL as he well represents the Hamas part of the most moderate Dems.

Hopefully, Thompson’s family sues the ass off of his employee for having her husband do a job THEY APPEARED TO KNOW WAS RISKY and never assigned any security to him. They might want to get with the program.
