Gilman has been among the first independent schools in the region to dedicate roles to diversity and inclusion, create trustee committees to lead the work, and engage faculty, students, and parents in making Gilman an equitable and inclusive community.

Prep-you mean they live there? That would mean parents farming out their responsibilities.
Your screen name. Where do you buy your ties?
The lack of intellectual acumen in this posturing is frightening.
Rich elite parenting is doctors, therapy, medications, molestation and boarding school. Then they become squatters, drug addicts and sent to HI or CA.
Andy, do I detect sympathy for assassins?
Anarchists and communists have always been favorably disposed to assassination. So, why would things be different today.
President Trump, Governor DeSantis and Bill Maher killed WOKE insanity... but the fallout from that will be with us for years. This is case in point.
Condolences to Brian Thompson’s family and friends.
No It was a comment about DEI being used to corrupt the youth at formerly elite educational institutions.
But the whole incident demonstrates what we all know about rule of law - the ris of the king’s justice was to prevent the dysfunctions of private vengeance. When the king’s justice systematically fails, vengeance will take over. DEI and wokeism have undermined our system of justice. It’s a harbinger of what will happen if this is not reversed.
“ Prep-you mean they live there?”
Prep does not mean a boarding school. Prep means a college preparatory school instead of a comprehensive high school with classes like auto mechanics. Gilman is a very expensive, very elite, very highly rated academically, very wealthy school. It has so much money that it also does extremely well in athletics because it has lots of money for scholarships.
Thanks, Andy. Yes, totally.
The rule of law. Not the rule of hate.
Judgment of individuals. Not of members groups defined by race, color or national origin.
A floor under the poor. No ceiling over the rich.
Equal opportunity. Not equal results.
A better tomorrow. Not vengeance. Not vindictiveness. Not suicide bombing. Not political assassination. Not rocket attacks on urban areas. Not terrorism.
thank you aclu for suing states until public me talk health hospitals were mostly defunded./s.
Provided you gain wealth by creating wealth rather than through crony capitalism. We have our Musks and his ilk who create wealth. But we also have a thoroughly corrupt system that enables licensed private looters to raid the public treasury with the assent and connivance of a corrupt deepstate. A lot of wealth is transferred to a lot of so-called elite that way. Where it leads to is where we are at this point in time, where you have to buy off so many people to keep the system going that the system collapses of its own weight.
Free market systems require government to support the free market and not subvert it. This stated with Clinton and Al Gore's reinventing government - selling out government functions to so-called private industry. Because there is no competition and you have a monopsony there is no market mechanism to drive efficiency and discipline the incompetent through bankruptcy.
dedicate roles to diversity and inclusions long as it doesnt interfere with thier elitist status
The media has painted this guy to be a genius, apparently because he was a high school valedictorian, and had two engineering degrees from ivy league schools. As someone who recruited engineers as part of my career, I can assure you that graduating with an engineering degree from ivy league schools certainly does not make you a genius. There are plenty of good engineering universities in this country, and none are in the ivy league. Even worse, I consider that graduating as valedictorian from a high school proudly pushing DEI goals proves anything but that you are smart. To me, it proves the opposite.
These elite prep schools are just expensive babysitters that parents can get to lock down there kids and rubber stamp graduation diplomas.
I was thinking of including this modifier, but thought it wouldn’t be elegant.
There’s a correlation between genius and madness. Way less than 100 percent. There are plenty of solid genius with middle class values. Also, many who are merely eccentric. But, you’ve got to look out, because quite of few people of enormous potential as teenagers and even some who achieve some success as young adults succumb to one or another form of madness.
Just a paid springboard to the right colleges for sons.
They taught Luigi to think that climate change and anti-capitalism are the two most important issues to tackle in his lifetime.
Here’s the problem, all public schools indoctrinate the same crappola - that has to stop before our country is permanently lost.
