British women's golf star Charley Hull salutes Trump: 'I wish he was head of the UK' (also did the Trump dance)

Charley Hull of Britain, a rising LPGA golf star and the world’s 12th-ranked female golfer, has confessed she would rather President-elect Donald Trump was running her country instead of left-wing Labour Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer.

The golfer was recently seen busting out the Trump Dance during the final round of The Annika as she battled the world’s top female golfer, Nelly Korda.

On Thursday, Fox News reports Hull addressed the dance and her feelings about the president-elect, calling him “brilliant” and a “legend.”

“I love Trump. I think he’s brilliant,” Hull said at the CME Group Tour Championship at Tiburon. “I like how he just says things, he doesn’t care what people think, and he’s straight to the point.”

Hull went so far as to say that she would prefer it if Trump led her home country, the United Kingdom, instead of Starmer.

“I wish he was head of the U.K.,” she added. “I just like him as a person. He’s a little better than our Prime Minister.”

Starmer assumed office this past July after the country’s Labour Party won the majority in parliament.

The Labour Party’s victory ended 14 years of the Conservative Party’s rule and was won with the smallest share of the electoral vote of any majority government since record-keeping of the popular vote began in 1830.

Hull previously expressed interest in the Women’s Open Championship returning to Trump Turnberry in Scotland in the future.

“I thought it was a great golf course, great fun,” she said while preparing for the Scottish Open, via the Daily Telegraph. “I love being out there, and the views are brilliant...

https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/700143

Over 800,000 signatures so far and racking up more.

But the UK has FTTP voting.

Think RCV over here.

So I don’t think the UK’s Deep State is too worried.

A Maoist just became PM of Britain a few months ago after having received about one-third of the vote. Under British election law he will remain in office until June 2029.

If we think things are bad here we should feel damn lucky that we're not Brits.

The Tories ignored their voters and they did what the Labour Party wanted them to do anyway.

The catch is that there may not be another election in June 2029. Or it'll be "fake" and everyone will vote by mail.

Nope...just looked it up. She calls herself “Grace Charis”. Not familiar with the one you mentioned but I can imagine her also having a nice swing.

Yep. Maybe they can get rid of him with a “No confidence” procedure. I don’t know how it works in the UK.

Throughout history leadership has changed when needed.

Either the easy way....or the hard way.

><

I was thinking the same thing. They’re putting a bunch of people in jail for expressing themselves.

IIRC in a Parliamentary system (Britain,Canada, etc) a PM's Party can drive him from office by just a simple vote behind closed doors and replace him with someone else in his Party. It's happened in Britain several times in recent years.

But to force a "General Election" a majority of *all* members...not just the ones in the PM's Party...must vote "no confidence". And Britain's Labour Party has a *huge* majority in Parliament so it seems unlikely that that would happen before June 2029.
