France declared Ukraine has the right to defend itself, including using French SCALP missiles, against Russia.
“There’s no red line,” said a French spokesperson, reinforcing support for Ukraine’s strikes on targets like the reported North Korean-command post in Russia's Kursk region.
The spokesperson highlighted France’s military aid and training efforts for Ukraine, emphasizing international law supports Kyiv’s self-defense.

The Trump administration now has to do it’s Ukrainian war peace policy out in the open. They can not afford to do much in the way of back channel talks because these war whores are sabotaging his policies preemptively.

FWIW, I corresponded with my mom via letters, from 77-81. Phone calls were too expensive. I lived too far from base to catch the AFN signal, basically went without TV for 4 years. It was not a hardship, it was a blessing. My off duty time was spent reading, and mixing cassette tapes.

I also love that beautiful country. Have been there half a dozen times, the most recent being Sept-Oct (Oktoberfest) last year. First time was in 1968 with a friend whose family owned a tavern in Frankfurt, then moved here after the war.
My paternal ancestors moved here (Baltimore) in the 1890s from a village south of Oldenburg called Wildeshausen. Our favorite area is Bavaria, around Garmisch and Oberammergau. We’ll be in that area again in April after a couple of weeks in Dublin with friends who like to hang out in Temple Bar to celebrate St. Paddy’s Day.

They weren’t worth saving in WWII, and I question WW1.
For certain, they are not worth saving now.
I recall reading stories about how the British would fight the Germans during the Blitzkrieg while the French troops hid. Their leftism/liberalism of that era gave them a pathetic military. (sound familiar?)
And I suspect their military is just as worthless today. If they start the war, let them finish it.
