There are measures in place to deal with these debtors...wage garnishment for one.

Demand 100% payment of their tax bills within 48 hours, or they will be immediately terminated with ineligibility for future Federal employment and have their pension accounts seized to offset against the tax bills. That is not how it works.

That averages out to be roughly about $7,667.00 per person.

It’s fun to tell public school teachers they really don’t pay income tax.

When I started working for the FDIC in 2009, we all had to sign affidavits that we were current with our federal taxes.

How do you feel it should work? Have you ever missed a due date? Lots of people have that problem. Government employees aren't going to be squeaky clean on this issue. It should be a consideration for issuing security clearances..

Sorry, but I’ve no sympathy for them...especially for the IRS employees who owe a combined $50MM in back Federal taxes.

It looks like your $50M post is inline with the following article.

It’s fun to tell public school teachers they really don’t pay income tax. Wouldn't this be the redirection of state/local taxes (paid to teachers) diverted to the Federal govt?

I seem to recall reading that half or more in the Obama administration owed back taxes. With leftists, it’s always about rewarding those on their side of the political aisle and punishing anyone else. This is just one more issue that needs to be ‘fixed’ in the next two years, among the plethora of other issues, even more critical, that Trump Team has to address. Time is fleeting....
