I think the “limiting women in combat” crap is just code speak for making the same physical requirements for combat arms branches regardless of your chromosomes/plumbing.

Regardless if some can match the same physical standards as men, women do not belong in combat; it is doubtful that they belong in the military at all beyond roles as nurses and clerical staff. Men and women are different and have different roles to play. I am tired of chimera of pretending that they are the same.

When I was in I was posted at Ft’s Dix, Ord, Benning, and Bragg. I honestly do not recall ever seeing a female at any of those posts except for some nurses. Now I see woman DI’s screaming at male recruits and screeching cadence on a PT run [ where everyone is wearing sneakers or running shoes , no boots] . Not exactly the training we recieved back in the 60’s 70’s, and certainly not our fathers in the 40’s and 50’s..
