WASHINGTON — “Going sideways” is how Fox News host and National Guard veteran Pete Hegseth, announced last night as President-elect Donald Trump’s choice for Secretary of Defense, recently dubbed the state of the Pentagon.
The pick of Hegseth, who lacks extensive experience in the defense or foreign policy sector, caught many off guard, prompting a slew of questions about how he might approach the job overseeing the military and its over $800 billion budget.
While a host of questions remain, Hegseth recently filmed an episode of the Shawn Ryan Show that dropped just five days ago. There, while promoting his new book, “The War on Warriors: Behind the Betrayal of the Men Who Keep Us Free,” he offered a peek at possible priorities in the Pentagon’s top civilian post.

When I was in I was posted at Ft’s Dix, Ord, Benning, and Bragg. I honestly do not recall ever seeing a female at any of those posts except for some nurses. Now I see woman DI’s screaming at male recruits and screeching cadence on a PT run [ where everyone is wearing sneakers or running shoes , no boots] . Not exactly the training we recieved back in the 60’s 70’s, and certainly not our fathers in the 40’s and 50’s..
You would have to be deaf, dumb and blind not to see what has gone wrong with the military. Anybody with two brain cells to rub together could see it. The military leadership of today has totally lost the plan and forsaken their primary mission.
You can easily identify most of them by the smile on their faces that they have in anticipation that retribution and revival is at hand.
After April 1975 the Chair Borne Rangers in the Pentagon no longer needed war fighters and firmly planted their butts in power and are highly skilled in office politics. Pete is going to have a fight on his hands.

I want only the best people for the job. If you can successfully do the job, I don’t care who or what you are. What I do care about is flaunting your differences and forcing other people to accept it, or else. Then I’m not too kind or friendly.
The military is about discipline, honor and respect. If you cannot do that, then you do not belong in the military. So, if you want to be a tranny, go ahead. But you perform according to your birth sex and not your feelings and need to dress like a woman to feel loved.
Yes, I do have a liberal slip and granted, sometimes it shows. If you are going to act like a soldier, dress like a soldier and fulfill your obligations, when you go home at night, you want to put on a bra and sing Madonna songs, have at it. But when it is time to work, you do just that.
One last thing, gender altering surgery is not something the military or the government should even remotely entertain. You want to cut off your johnson, and play little girl do it on your own time with your own resources.
No one wants to live, eat, sleep shower and deploy with them. No one.
Pete Hegseth vs Courtney Massingale... I know from experience who I will support. We need to play “whack-a-mole” with the “perfumed princes of the Pentagon”.
I don’t think this is a “hint” at all. He got a mandate from the man we mandated to shake it up. (Admirals in dresses, c’mon man!) Read Pete’s book if you want to see what he is going to do, it gets pretty obvious in just the introduction.
