California drivers may see gas prices climb next year after state regulators voted to toughen fuel standards in an effort to cut pollution and reliance on fossil fuel. While environmental officials back the plan as a step toward a cleaner environment, opponents argue it’ll hit Californians in the wallet.

One-party state run by commucrats.

“Reduce pollution” is the most absurd argument possible. Only in the fevered minds of leftist idiots is a clear, odorless, inert gas a “pollutant.”

Just a few weeks before, Newscum made a big deal of signing legislation to prevent higher gasoline prices. What a creep.

I think they’re shutting down nuclear plants in California too. Just like Germany.

“The low carbon fuel standard has already successfully created lower-cost, lower-carbon alternatives, and the benefits of the proposal vastly outweigh those costs,” Steven Cliff, the agency’s executive officer, said last month.

State of California, 2023 $325,724.47

That’s because public servant Steve Cliff can afford those costs

Another elitist snob making a THIRD of a MILLION dollars every year. He can afford a 65 cent increase in gasoline prices.

It’s too bad this wasn’t taking effect in January 2024. It could have turned a lot of races.

Also, there IS NO SUCH THING as “lower carbon” gasoline. Gasoline is hydrogen and carbon — that’s it.

Their “lower carbon” BS means using anything BUT gasoline to power the transportation industry. It’s all Democrat subterfuge and misdirection just like the “Inflation Reduction Act.”

Because the big election year is over, and they don’t give a floppy-flip how much the consumers complain.

California is driving cars out of state. Once California gasoline refineries close, no one will want to make the special California only boutique gasoline. Maybe Korea, maybe India. But can you guess the cost of special boutique, gasoline, refined halfway around the world will cost? The only refinery in the world will gouge California, then there’s the transportation halfway around the world.

Democracies convince the population to go in One Direction, dictators just beat you over the head. Guess which is California plan!

It will also hit the blue state moron voters whose state governments sanctimoniously decided to follow Kalifornistan’s emissions standards.

What “lower cost alternatives”? The only thing I can think of lower cost is a bicycle.
