Not really necessary; they have written and oral proof. Arrest her.

With a strongly worded letter to follow?

That must end with multiple firings and loss of funding for FEMA in order to mean anything.
You must metaphorically hit bureaucrats over the forehead with a two-by-four just to get their attention.

The FEMA offender happens to be a blakk female. Sounds kinda racist to me, like she was targeting these homes assuming the occupants would also be white. The race card would definitely be played if a white FEMA worker had said to avoid homes with Harris signs.

Election hate crime.
Make it a Federal felony.

FEMA, and Marn’i Washington, should also be fingered for electronic fraud.
The Daily Wire that at least 20 homes with Trump signs or flags were skipped over from the end of October and into November due to Marn’i Washington’s directive——the Trump supporters were denied the opportunity to qualify for FEMA assistance.
Images shared with The Daily Wire show houses skipped over by FEMA workers, who wrote into the government chat system messages such as: “Trump sign no entry per leadership.”

I’m not arguing with your sentiment, but what crime has been committed? There is no law against discrimination based on political beliefs. Of course she should be fired and banned from any future government employment. But given her name, I suspect that she is of a ‘protected class’.
The fact that FEMA was touting its commitment to ‘equity’ when it came to disasters, both man-made and natural and that its employees apparently willingly followed orders to ignore help to homes with Trump signs shows the culture of the agency is completely foul. The agency might be too far gone to allow its continued existence.

Oh come on. It’s immoral and cruel.
Screw the law. Just put her in a cell and shut the door. Then forget she’s there.

How about conspiracy to deprive a person of civil rights under color of law? Frame this in terms of freedom of speech, not discrimination based on political beliefs

There will be much “harumfing”.

I quite agree and more so, it is wrong. I was just pointing out that it likely isn’t illegal. Firing and professional shunning might be all the satisfaction we can get.

I’m sure the Republicans will get FEMA to fire this person and call it a victory.

Is it legal to defraud persons of relief funds meant to be paid to them? I don’t know; I’m not an attorney, but it seems like something illegal was done here.

I don’t know that getting a $750 check from FEMA counts as a civil right, but, of course I could be wrong. Please don’t think I’m condoning this vile FEMA official’s behavior; I am not. I think that her losing her job is about all the satisfaction we’re likely to get over this.
That she felt free to say and write what she did tells me that there are far bigger fish to fry in this and other Federal government agencies. A whole bureaucratic culture needs to be cleaned out. Sort of like ‘draining the swamp’!

yes this is a CRIME!!
She needs to go to prison.
And “following orders” is not a defense for illegal activity for the folks who paid attention.
