She was unfit for the office, or any office.
He’s a Democrat too. Are the voters expecting a different result?
You lost. How’s that ranked choice working out for you now?
You can’t run as a Republican and win.
A friend out there shared with me some of the campaign flyers of some city council challengers. I looked at their talking points and said “Oh! So they’re Republicans!”
He said “Shhhh! You can’t say that!”
Initial indications are Lurie is like that.
Look, it’s California, we probably wouldn’t be impressed. But for SF, it’s a huge change for the better.
Both Demwits, so, no loser, just a winner who will wind up resigning in disgrace or be voted out in favor of yet another Demwit, and the almost winner, like on the real Bozo show.
You know SF is a lost cause when ya find out the mafia isn't even interested in it.
ranked choice....as in which candidate is the least rank
For the better? We’ll see where SF is a couple years from now.
The longest journey starts with one step forward...
Another victory for common sense. These are great times.

Incompetent. angry. black. woman, S/Francisco Mayor London Breed, lost her reelection bid.
After years in which the liberal. Incompetent. angry. black. woman’s know nothingness caused sky-high crime, homelessness, drug use, relentless shoplifting and property crime, business declines, and a deteriorating quality of life in what was once a beautiful city.
What’s her Real name ?
Meet the new boss, same as the old boss.
Maybe it's Ima Dunce? Dee Fundapolice? Sara S. George?
Daniel Lurie ... name sounds familiar ... does he own a sports team or something?
One of the things that hasn't been addressed is that condo skyscraper that could tip over anytime (give or take a tremor or quake) -- when it goes, it'll take out several more large nearby and very expensive buildings.
The only fix that had a chance of success was rejected because it seemed too expensive. The cheap stupid way they tried made the problem worse, and the only answer now is deconstructing it before it falls over.
It's odd though -- it's no longer the worst problem of SF. I visited there in the late 80s and the streets were already littered with, well, litter, turds, and there were homeless sleeping in those bushes in that city building (I think that's what it is) across the street from the opera house.
Since then there has been the quake in '89, plus the much worse disaster of unfettered Demagogic Party rule.
It can happen over night if the President Xi is coming to visit.
Dunno.
It’s a little early for word salad.
