Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America celebrated as pro-life Republican Bernie Moreno defeated incumbent Democrat Sen. Sherrod Brown after more than 30 years in Washington, D.C. SBA Pro-Life America Candidate Fund endorsed Moreno in June.
This election cycle, SBA Pro-Life America and its affiliated entities raised and spent $92 million to protect life across America. Overall, the groups’ largest ever voter contact program reached more than 10 million persuadable and low-turnout voters across eight key battleground states: Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Montana, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. Pro-life canvassers with SBA Pro-Life America and its partner Women Speak Out PAC made more than four million visits to voters’ homes over the course of the cycle to support Senate candidates like Moreno and defeat pro-abortion Democrats.
Efforts in Ohio included:
1,243,900 visits to targeted voters by canvassers 68,505 man-hours spent reaching targeted voters by 592 canvassers 503,466 persuadable voters reached through digital ads (Kamala Harris Goes Too Far, Moms Need More Resources, Not More Abortions, & Sherrod Brown Goes Too Far) 1,480,120 voter mail pieces sent 2,149,490 voter texts sent Key House Districts: OH-01, OH-09, OH-13
“We congratulate Senator-elect Bernie Moreno and look forward to working together to protect children before birth and help moms reach the root causes of abortion with life-affirming solutions. Contrary to what the Left would have us believe, Ohioans are not fans of painful late-term abortions of healthy babies with healthy moms, up through the seventh, eighth or ninth month. They aren’t on board with the Democrats’ platform of a national all-trimester abortion mandate and even leaving babies born alive after failed abortions to die. That’s the message voters sent tonight as Sherrod Brown and Kamala Harris proved too extreme for the Buckeye State,” said SBA Pro-Life America President Marjorie Dannenfelser.
