Fellow Christians, we have a crisis we seem unable to recognize every election cycle. Many registered Christians sit out of elections year after year with the claim that the candidate their fellow Republicans selected in the primary is not a sufficient enough Christian to be of service to our nation and to represent their values. (And yet they never run themselves.) This is frustrating because their boycott hands the other side, which is far less Christian, the vote. Our country has suffered too much under this mindset as ANY election that had included these boycotters’ votes would be won by the Christian majority.
Let’s look at it from another point of view.
Did Christ choose perfect men as His apostles to carry His word?

Was Saul just such a great guy at slaughtering Christians that Christ said, “Gotta have that guy on my team?”
There has been but one perfect man on this earth and his name was Jesus. All other men fall short, and even the best people of the Bible were flawed. God is used to using flawed men to build his kingdom. And He can make any person a better person.
Many who only read the headlines criticize Trump’s influence on the abortion issue, saying he’s abandoned Christian values. If they were to look deeper, they would find his influence caused Planned Parenthood to withdraw from a program (Title X) that was providing them with millions in grants. That was their decision based on the guidelines Trump set forth in the program that they felt they could not adhere to, and countless lives were no doubt saved by the slaughter of abortion. His second influence was the appointment of judges whose decision threw the abortion issue back to the states to decide, effectively ending the federal government’s involvement in deciding when or if an abortion could be performed. This is what our federal republic is all about – allowing states to decide issues rather than having a federal government always dictate those decisions – it left it up to voters of each state, and for some states, it put a complete halt to abortions.
Trump also managed to get the Abraham Accords in place to end wars in the Middle East and bring peace to the region. Biden destroyed this, but it can be fixed. In addition, Trump moved the U.S. embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem to recognize that city’s significance in the lives of Christians and Jews alike.
Trump has also provided a lot of Christian charity to people in the 30-plus years I’ve followed him. He does it quietly and frequently, often when other leaders are not even reaching out to those in need.
If you think you’re a better Christian than Donald Trump, you miss the entire point of Christianity and our need for God’s grace and salvation. Look at the other side of the aisle. Ask yourself if they better represent the principles of the Christian faith. Then pray and go to the polls.
In my opinion, God voted in July. Now it’s your turn. May God bless our country whoever its leader is and forgive us our sins.
We should end the filibuster. They would.
Problem-51 senators isn’t enough for us but it is for them.
These “too good to vote for Trump” people are the sanctimonious pharisees of our time. So full of themselves, they missed the point of the New Testament.
There are a number of Christians who won’t vote for Trump because of “decorum”.
Our local talk show host said Christians who sit this out are voting for Harris. He’s right.
Christianity Today has been rather quiet about this. We know who they want though.
Which is?

Right on! And they disgust me.
Every sentient person who fails to affirmatively vote for Trump/Vance deserves to have his way of life ripped away.
A Pastor at a very large local Evangelical Church told his Congregation on Sunday that Voting is not Biblical. He also said that he and his family have never voted and never will. Not sure if all of his people will follow him.
Harris' heart bled profusely condemning Americans "who are wrong to celebrate Christmas"
<>“How dare Americans speak ‘Merry Christmas!’ How dare we!"
<>“We'll wish each other ‘Merry Christmas,’ but migrant children will not have a Merry Christmas.”
<>“They don’t know if they'll get to stay here for days, weeks, or months.”
<>“Illegals will not have a Merry Christmas," she whined.
Some of my church are hard core dems and pro abortion.
Max is conservative and a small percentage don’t want to have anything to do with it.
Does that church ask donations to support refugees? If so, I would ask why should I support them if they (the church) contributed to the problem in the first place. In Timothy, when dealing with the issue of widows, Paul says to ONLY support them if they (when younger) also supported others in the church. In other words, he was saying, “You reap what you sow”.
One of their authors advised people not to vote.
I don’t fully believe the ‘sit it out’ story.
Why do we think it’s not wildly exgerrated by liberals?
There are at least two critiques of Christianity that I heard from a Jewish guy:
The first is the idea of a Rapture and being saved can lead to fatal inaction because Christians believe they will be spared from the destruction of the world.
The other is a lack of realism about human nature (the “migrant” issue is a prime example). Christians are called to give, give and give. Another group of non-Christians will gladly take, take and take. Even if it is an invading army (Jihadists, CCP).
Valid points if one is following Christianity as it is taught today.
I know this is not how Christianity is supposed to work, but this is the way it is in the modern, wimpy version of Christianity.
No Republican candidate is GOOD enough? What a bunch of crap. None of us are good enough. Don’t these self-righteous prigs understand that? Don’t they understand that God chose many “not so good” men to do great things? Moses was a murderer, David was an adulterer, and I can go on and on. It is time for bullshit self-righteousness to stop. We are fighting for our lives this election because if the demoncrats continue, our rights will be gone. We do live in this world, and we should try to make it better. I live in NJ, and I know my vote will be swallowed up by all the demons who live here, but I’m voting anyway, if only for conscious sake.
The mass murder of the most innocent should bother everyone with a beating heart.
To say there is a life stage or circumstance where this is acceptable is unreasonable.
If that’s bad, then the party whose leader will trade the mass murder of the most innocent in exchange for power is even more evil.
Compromise with evil gave us anchor babies and big pharma immunity.
Then lockdowns, mass vaccination camps and bumpstock bans.
BUMP!!! - come on Mountain and West Coast!!! /praying
