A Trump supporter was booted from a $350-a-month Equinox gym in Manhattan for wearing a T-shirt emblazoned with the former president’s mugshot — which a manager called “offensive,” he claims.
Jared, 27, a startup founder who requested his last name not be used, said he was interrupted as he worked up a sweat at the Equinox Flatiron by the location’s general manager, who on Saturday asked him to cover up or leave.
“She told me Equinox is a ‘safe space’ and that my shirt was offensive,” he told The Post Monday. The garment in question was a white T-shirt featuring Trump’s historic mugshot photo from August with the words “never surrender” printed underneath. In a viral video of the subsequent encounter viewed nearly 200,000 times online, Jared engages in a cordial exchange with the manager, Queen Ogunyinka, in which he questions the gym’s policy.

Good question.
I am offended and triggered right there. The lady has to change her name. I won't take "no" for an answer.

There was a gym in michigan, a predecessor of LA fitness, that required everybody wear a blue shirt. The courts upheld it because it was in the rules. Otherwise though I don’t think a club can get away with favoring one type of printed t-shirt over another.

For what its worth- i am in Westchester County, just above NYC. I have a pro Trump sticker on my car and an anti-harris sticker on my car. Will not reveal what they say- just in case.
Today when i was stuck in traffic there was an older couple in the vehicle behind me reading my bumper stickers...when they finally made out what the stickers said the couple was ecstatic- giving me the thumbs and dancing in their car.
Later- as i’m driving home from work and i’m at stop sign, some guy rolled down his window and shouted, “That is the best sticker i have seen to date!!!”
BTW- i believe the Equinox club is the one James O’Keefe was banned from after he posted videos of the fraudulent judge in the Trump $489 million case creeping on young chicks at the gym.
If its true - and that’s a big if - that all political t-shirts are banned, then the Trump supporter should abide by the rules.

I almost signed up to Equinox some years ago. Almost. I eventually decided to and am still with the local community centre gyms of which there are a handful locally. Closer by and way less expensive.
350 a month for a gym? Egads!!!

I think the price I was quoted some years ago was around 140 per month so 350 must be due to a hefty NYC premium and well maybe all that wonderful Bidenflation we’ve been having.
