I remember when Justice Thomas was confirmed and the nightmare he was put through. Afterwards when he was seated on the court I was in a mystery book store in Lawrence, Kansas doing some shopping. Lawrence is home to Kansas University. While shopping, two women came in, both wives of professors at KU. They greeted the store owner and angrily proceeded to rip Justice Thomas apart, demean his intelligence, and made many ugly and disgusting comments about him. I dropped the books I’d planned to purchase and walked out of the store never to return.
Justice Thomas has more class, greater intellect, and more human compassion than people like those liberal hags could ever dream of. And after everything the machine in DC put him through in their attempt to destroy him personally as well as professionally, Justice Thomas only shone brighter. I wish him God’s blessings on a bountiful retirement.
