They must return to their roots—they are there to MAKE MONEY. To do so they must produce a product people will buy. It must be something that the people believe or they become a tabloid like World Wide News with Bat-boy meets Bigfoot and Elvis is alive! At one time people were forced to read what was put out—or watch what the TV offered—Now they can select what they want. Get on board or and accept the new reality. Change is coming—resist and go bankrupt.
Please recall that network TV is being replaced by streaming TV. Cable TV is in serious trouble as subscribers leave for the streaming internet programming.
The networks have established their own streaming TV channels but they are being rejected because..... lots of reasons.
The reality is that the networks are in trouble and have not actually developed a sure method for moving forward.
The cable news channels CNN and MSNBC are opperating at serious financial loss. They can’t generate enough viewers to attract bill paying advertisers. The major news papers Washington Post, New York Times and LA Timesw are all losers. They are all owned by politically motivated billionaires who are willing to absorb the loss.
The generation that reads newspapers and watches network TV is dying. Behind it, the Boomers are also beginning to die off as they age.
Change, irreversible change, is doing in the MSM.
