In devastated North Carolina, I witnessed a master class in the most powerful force in the universe
Fox News ^ | 27 October 2024 | Mike Kerrigan

When Father Richard Sutter, a former U.S. Army Airborne Ranger Infantry Officer, summoned a handful of his strong-backed St. Gabriel Catholic Church parishioners for what he called a recon mission to Swannanoa, North Carolina, a community devastated by Hurricane Helene, we did not hesitate.

Once there, we were surprised to learn that the earlier-arriving boots on the ground were not boots at all, but sandals, and small ones at that. Sisters of the Missionaries of Charity were already at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, our designated rally point, by the time we gents had arrived in town.

I was aware of the Missionaries of Charity and their service to the poorest of the poor. But I’d never seen them in action, and certainly never expected to do so two hours from my home. The strength of the hurricane notwithstanding, theirs was a masterclass display of the most powerful force in the universe: love.

It has been churches and nonprofit charities, not the ones tied to the ruling classes like the Red Cross, that have carried the lion's share of relief to western North Carolina. FEMA and the Feds generally have been interfering with relief efforts or if not, have been useless.

There are those who have speculated that some weather modification program was used to devastate the highly Republican counties to flip NC to the Democratic side. However, the Federal incompetence may have had the reverse effect and highlighted Democratic incompetence.

I know someone who works for the Red Cross. They pay him peanuts.

As a Faithful Navigator with the Knights of Columbus, I was able to raise over $2,500 in less than a week to provide immediate help during the most recent hurricanes. After that time, funds were shifted to our state organization to provide relief.

The amount that I raised may not have been much, but it provided immediate relief and supplies for those who needed it most at a critical time.

I know someone who has a fairly high position within the Red Cross response teams. She is paid nothing.

>> The amount that I raised may not have been much
Multiply it by the number who did what you did.
And it went immediately to where it was needed with minimal bureaucracy.
And — most importantly — it was given to those in need in the Name of Jesus CHRIST, not in the name of the secular State.
Well done, sir.

Faith AND works! Work with Faith! Do for others, every day, in every way!
Saint Teresa of Calcutta (Mother Teresa) is one of the greatest examples of selfless charity done for the sake of imitating Christ!
“Small things done with great love will change the world.”

“The good you do today may be forgotten tomorrow. Do good anyway. Give the world the best you have and it may never be enough. Give your best anyway. For you see, in the end, it is between you and God. It was never between you and them anyway.”

“At the end of life we will not be judged by how many diplomas we have received, how much money we have made, how many great things we have done. We will be judged by “I was hungry, and you gave me something to eat, I was naked and you clothed me. I was homeless, and you took me in.”

“I don’t do great things. I do small things with great love.”

And on and on.
This is why I am so blessed to be a faithful, hardworking Knight!

FEMA and the Feds generally have been interfering with relief efforts or if not, have been useless.

Like stealing Generators from people who are trying to get them to those who need them and then keeping for their own benefit like they did in the Houston area after one of the recent Hurricanes.

I've heard that femascum are at it again in the NC Mountain region are even stealing Medical Supplies including Insulin and basic First Aid supplies from Individuals and Groups who are trying to get them to the People in Need of those exact items. And of course the supplies never get to those in need of them.

Contact Information for a LOCAL GROUP in the Region.

Western North Carolina has fallen off the radar even in the alt-right media.

* Are FEMA agents armed?
*If not, are FBI agents, Federal marshals, or other Federal LEOs providing enforcement?
*Are the state authorities, including NC state troopers, supporting or resisting FENA confiscation?
*Are the sheriffs and local police protecting private sector assistance, e.g., the Knights of Columbus or Samaritans Purse, from FEMA confiscation?
*Are the local citizens blocking FEMA actions?

Don't know if they are or not but I will lean towards that being a Yes.

Unknown

*Are the sheriffs and local police protecting private sector assistance, e.g., the Knights of Columbus or Samaritans Purse, from FEMA confiscation?
Unknown, I would lean towards yes

*Are the local citizens blocking FEMA actions?
As far as I know they are IGNORING femascum.
