'Kind of disgusting': Harris makes move that could backfire in critical swing state

Vice President Kamala Harris’ decision to hit the trail with former Republican Rep. Liz Cheney could backfire in Michigan, where Cheney is hugely unpopular with a critical voting bloc in the swing state.

"It was surprising for us as Arab Americans to have Kamala Harris bringing someone whose family name always reminds us of war crimes in the Middle East," Hamtramck Mayor Amer Ghalib told reporters in an online call Monday...

"The Arab American community, as I see it, are very disappointed," Ghalib, who has now endorsed Trump in the election, said. "To bring this person to our backyard, to remind us all of the tragedies that happened in the Middle East, is something that tells us that there would be more wars coming if Kamala Harris is elected."...

YEAH BABY!

You jew haters are utter vermin, but thanks for your help in submerging the vile pig Hairless/&Balz underneath a tide of antisemitism that HeelsUp feels she needs to embrace.

After you have helped lose her the election, may all of you muslim scum eat the heel of the boot until you self-deport!

Of all the many Harris-Walz campaign’s late-inning mis-fires, hitching their wagon to Liz Cheney has got to be among the dubmest. There are like 9 people in America who like and respect Liz Cheney, and approximately 8 of them are Cheney family relatives.

After seeing her at that horrible town hall with Maria Shiver I think Liz had the realization she had hitched her star to the wrong person, she looked absolutely miserable and wanted to be someplace else.

Whaaa? Self deport?

They are US citizens. Born in the US. That is why they are significant. They vote. How can you deport a US citizen.

They take advantage of the Constitutional guarantees for freedom of religion.

Odd thing about Muslims in the US. They are hugely, disproportionately doctors.

I wondered what the effect of the various Muslim leaders’ jumping ship would be. If this helps further erode that bloc, I say mazel tov!

There are indeed a high proportion of doctors amongst them.

Most being OB/GYNs.

Let that sink in for a moment.

Astute observation, because I too wonder if Kamala is being sabotaged by some on her own team. Just letting her sink from the weight of her arrogance, ignoring the cringe of those faux pas Word Salads. The Dem Party remains in a quiet civil war tween traditional Democrats and straight up communists. Power struggles galore.

disproportionately doctors.

The children of upper Arab castes who are wealthy enough and connected enough are assured a career in their field of choice such as engineering or political positions. Those of lower castes, from poor remote villages, or who are not as well connected will work themselves to the bone to send their son or daughter to medical school because a medical degree and license guarantees stable employment and independence, and a rise up the rungs of the Arab caste system for themselves, their children and their parents. In Israel, Arab-Israelis make up 20% of citizens but 50% of recent medical school graduates, either doctors, pharmacists or RNs. Here's an article that speaks to the subject:

I will apologize if I seem to be making a statement that every poster here already understands.

Yes, this very well could be a colossal mistake by Harris. The Muslims of the United States were not supportive of the Bush-Cheney Administration's military actions in the Middle East. And now, here comes Harris-Cheney. It's that name again. CHENEY! Could Harris be any more stupid? As the posters are suggesting, is someone deliberately giving Harris horrible advice? Well, I certainly hope so!

Nah. I think the people running her campaign are stupid, right up to the boss. They don’t need any help coming up with bad ideas

Liz Cheney may be the one person who actually has more negative public perception than spirit-of-antichrist Kamala Harris.

Dick Cheney probably likes Liz Cheney.

Outside of that......

Perhaps you’re thinking Indian doctors. I’ve never seen a Muslim doctor. The Kaiser Permanentes in WA, CO, OR and CA are probably 30% Indian. The rest Asian and White.
