Universities across the country have transformed at the command of anti-diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) legislation. At the University of Texas-Austin, the legislation led to resource cancellations, office closures, and staff firings -- pushing some students to create alternatives to their school’s defunct diversity programs.
Texas Gov. Greg Abbott signed SB 17 into law in 2023, barring public institutions of higher education from having diversity, equity, and inclusion offices, as well as programs, activities, and training conducted by those offices. The law also restricts training or hiring policies based on race, gender identity or sexual orientation.

I will never forget taking the undergraduate Logic Course. To coin a phrase, it was not just logical, it was, yes, fascinating.
Later on the Leftist Creepozoids invented “Logic In Gender Studies” “Logic In Hispanic Studies” Logic in (FILL-IN-THE-BLANK) Studies.
It would not surprise anyone if some of them now have “Logic In Islamofascistnazi Studies”

UT Austin is one of the most liberal centric schools in the USA. Only one way to fix it, eliminate all the liberal arts people there. ALL of them! Just keep the science departments.
ABC is so lame. “ONE” Texas university? Texas is THE University. “The 40-acres” does not require “. . . at Austin” for everyone to know of which university you are speaking.
It will be good when athletic scholarships are not the only things in college based on merit.

Texas does have a pretty good football program since they got rid of and recovered from their former athletic director who should have retired about a decade before he did.

As they do certifying there was no cruelty to animals, it was a union production staff with label shown and so on.

Sports programs? The athletic programs were systematically dismantled by the first female President of the University, Loraine Rogers. She hated Darrel Royal, Abe Lemons, and Cliff Gustafson (football, basketball, and baseball legendary coaches). She exiled them from the programs and the alumni.
The predictable results were exactly what she and the pinheads in the academic senate wanted.

College courses that end in the word “studies” are quite suspect as to their content. Logic has been worth learning forever. These other spin offs, not so much.
