Former President Barack Obama this week hit the campaign trail for Vice President Kamala Harris, part of a concerted effort to rally support around the Democratic presidential nominee with less than a month remaining before the election.
Obama has long been known for his soaring oratory, which helped propel him to the White House in 2008. That year, Obama's diverse voting coalition was headlined by overwhelming support from Black and young voters, two groups that Harris needs to win in November.
But Obama's remarks while in Pittsburgh on Thursday sparked a major debate about Black voters and their loyalty to the Democratic Party and former President Donald Trump's push to make inroads with the key group.
"You're coming up with all kinds of reasons and excuses," Obama said of Black male voters. "I've got a problem with that."

He thinks he owns the American blacks. It was horribly insulting.
He has long been known for the over-the-top worship he got from members of "the intelligentsia," which was utterly unjustified.
Obama is Bill Ayer’s apostle and is racist and wants to eliminate white people that are in his way so communists can take over the US.
Now, you have more black people saying publicly they support Trump, or don't support Kamala. And even social media channels. More than ever before.
And you have more black celebrities the ever before, including black women. It's not looked down on as it would have been in the past.
It seems like 15% would be disappointing, given all that.

When a politician plays the race card be they black or white they are appealing to racism by white or black constituents and stoking racial animus between races. That is just plain damn wrong and evil!
Racism and inequality was real years ago. I grew up in South Louisiana and West Texas and saw racism and did not even realize it was racism. In my mind it was “Just the way it was supposed to be.” I was woefully ignorant in the 60s.
With the passage of the Civil Rights Act it was put away legally but not socially. Forty years later it is dead and gone by race but not socially. Few people give a damn about your color. They do give a damn about what you are socially as they should. Wealthy and middle class blacks do not want to live next door to white trash nor black. Wealthy and middle class whites do not want to live next door to white trash nor black. The new social structure is not by race but by economics and education.
I live in an upper class to wealthy area, and most houses are on 2-5 acres of land. It is mostly white and perhaps 20% minority mostly Hispanic (one is my wife) and a few blacks.
We do not give a damn about race in my neighborhood. We all live here for the same reason. We like the isolation of big lots, we like our great school system, and we just all want to be left alone.

Our neighbors as I are armed and many are very adept as I. Many are ex military. Our neighborhood is without violence but it does have petty crime by stupid kids. That is life.

Obama is desperate and blew it!
He’s also devastated because black males and a fair number of black women are not falling for Barack’s bull crap anymore.
Once again if Trump said someting even remotely close to “I got a problem with white people voting for Harris” he would be assassinated again.
I still think the REAL and ONLY reason that we can’t see his birth certificate is that it states Race = Caucasian.

I forgot to add a note about my neighborhood. We are out in the country side. Within 1 mile of my home are 5 private shooting ranges, one of which is mine. We often hear rifle and pistol shots. It is of no importance to us. Deer hunting season is almost here. I hear frequent shots this week as hunters are sighting in their rifles. We have many deer on our lands and those damn pigs that need killing. They are destructive in the extreme. They are vermin.
Oddly, I no longer hunt as the joy of killing has left this old man. I have a friend that hunts my land and we share the venison which is delicious. When it comes to killing vermin I have no problem and do. That is just house cleaningl
