New: Train of more modern model. Otherwise unchanged. Also probably SUVs and trucks to take away goodies.

Decades ago the NYC metro area was plagued by cargo thieves targeting tractor trailers.
PD put out a decoy truck where the doors snapped shut like a mousetrap.
Dozens busted.

Agreed. The box truck pulled up to it to load stolen goods into tells me that they were at least somewhat organized. Maybe the train was parked there long enough for someone to think to get Leon and his truck.

The local news from Chicago had a related story for a while about "significant delays" in the westbound commuter trains being able to get out of the Chicago terminal and take suburban dwellers home from their day jobs in the city because of the massive police presence at the crime scene blocking the rail lines.
It fell off the radar quickly. Just another reason for office workers to want to WFH instead of RTO.

The willingness for people to loot en-mass like they did from those train cars, gives me a picture of a culture in total degeneracy. How did those youths get that way? Are they the result of poor parenting? What forces have eliminated the value of accountability from these people?
