These Yook/Ruzz threads are pure garbage for the most part, but the topic of drones warfare is interesting - and horrifying.

Forget the latest whiz bang fighter aircraft, they will be relegated to the rear of the battlefield/airspace. The nations which can mass produce and deploy the largest drone swarms while fending off attacks on its means of production, will be the victors.

Nothing short of Jesus returning or a nuclear war will halt the advance of this form of warfare (and after the wars, control of civilian populations).

The war will end—all wars end—even the 100 years war ended. By the way do you recall who won the 100 years war? I think Ukraine is about done. They have shot their best chances in some stupid attacks that just killed lots of their own men. The war will be settled over a peace table and Trump will make sure of that. Silly people want this to be the game changer WW III but wiser heads will win out—reason over emotion. A more dangerous tinderbox is Israel vs Iran—that could spill into WW III with little effort.

"This is the dystopian future of war that may yet come to the West, should great power conflicts proliferate."

Hmmm, this reminds of one of Matthew Bracken books. I think it was last "Enemies" book, "Foreign Enemies And Traitors". As I recall, our government had "No mans lands" and they use drones to kill anyone who was found there.. (?)

Thak you for your insight. It will end with more lives lost on both sides and enormous treasure wasted for nothing worthwhile. If Ukraine is rebuilt, what’s left of it that is, it won’t be by Trump’s USA. Maybe the Europeans will tax their people to send it to Ukraine to rebuild.

It’s not “the” Ukraine.............

The Ukraine is an historic region, Ukraine is an artificially created state.

"How can this end please? How many people have to die still, in a pointless exercise? How can the end be seen?"

The answer to all your questions:

Start at Genesis 1:1 and read to Revelation 22:21.. :)

In mid-July Russia began production of 4000 drones a day... and now they are fully integrated into units across the front. Everywhere used to be Ukrainian drone footage, but now the Russian’s has far surpassed Ukraine in it’s heyday. While Blinken *idiot and j/Snake Sullivan were busy in May and June bashing China over drone part exports, in July on the same day the Russia drone factory shipped their first productions, exports to Ukraine were hated to comply with US demands China stop the exports. China has a sense of humor, and today’s diplomatic corps is shell of its former self, lacking high IQ of yester-years as our failed education system no longer produces a quality human product.

Poor Ukrainian civilians are having their vehicles stolen by the Ukrainian military and soldiers are dressing as civilians to escape encriclements. There are dozens of drone strike videos of guys fleeing cities in civilian vehicles and the Ukrainian soldiers changing into uniforms as they ditch their commandeered transportion. Not to worry though, Russian drones still hit those Biden bastards.

NATO’s shock and awe-”shit” was started by Bill Clinton in the early 90s in THE former Yugoslavia, NATO bombed all the electric grids, bridges, railways, and water purtification plants. Nothing like knocking the white folk back into the stone age so the DNC could usher in the ear of Muslim Illegal Immigration into the West. The book Baklin Ghosts was an excellent historic read on 400 years of strife between the peoples there.

The US is very efficient in turning our enemies homelands into stoneage accommodations prior to our boots on the ground.

Russia has not resorted to the NATO-Blitz but they have used a more refinned chocking technique to cause pain for Uk-pain-e, and US-pain-e and NAZI-Ukraine pain.

Regardless of its conception it is inappropriate to call it “the” Ukraine. It’s also irritating to read. Perhaps Purin will conquer it and reincorporate it into Russia proper. Until then please refer to it correctly.

It is no more improper to call it the Ukraine than it is to call our country the United States. Get a life.

Career
Since she began to publish her work in 2011, Zabrisky has been a three-time nominee for the Pushcart Prize (nominated by Eleven Eleven Journal of Literature of Art, Red Fez Literary Magazine and Epic Rites Press) and was a finalist for the Normal School's Normal Prize in Fiction, 2012. Zabrisky also received an editor nomination for the Million Writers Award, an honourable mention for the New Millennium Writings 2012, and was awarded the Acker Award for Achievement in The Avant Garde, 2013. Zabirsky has been published in over 40 literary magazines and anthologies in the UK, US, Canada, Hong Kong and Nepal.[3][4]

Zabrisky is also known for her spoken word performances. She has staged a rock jazz ballet pop musical-thriller We, Monsters (based on her novel We, Monsters), starring local writers and poets, at Viracocha and Pegasus Books, California. Zabrisky has appeared at Litquake Festivals in 2012 and 2013. She has also performed and judged literary merit at the Literary Death Match, held at The Contemporary Jewish Museum and in Los Angeles. Zarbrisky's stories Honey-Hued Eyes and Wanderlust were performed by the Liars' League, the former in support of the Gay and Straight Alliance in Hong Kong, 2013. She has performed at the San Francisco State Poetry reading, Man Ray/Lee Miller-Partners in Surrealism at the Legion of Honour Museum, San Francisco.[5][6][7][8][9]

Zabrisky has been involved in campaigns concerning the human rights, including Pussy Riot movement, and organised a protest outside the Russian Consulate in 2013. During interviews after the event, she stated, "The Pussy Riot trial is an insult to me as a writer, a woman, and a human being. I have been apolitical all my life. Most Russians know that protest in Russia is absurd, ... there is a line, though, where one is so outraged that feelings grow into actions and words, and sometimes actions and words out of the ordinary".[10][11] She is a co-founder of The Arts Resistance, a movement or artists and writers gathered to resist the injustice and war in the world and support human rights by means of the arts.

Since 2016 Zabrisky has been actively involved in investigative journalism and has been quoted in several books and articles, including Craig Unger's 2018 bestseller, House of Trump, House of Putin,[12] Russian-American historian Yuri Felshtinsky's article on Dimitry Simis,[13] the Antidot,[14] the Voice of Binkongoh[15] and Radio Svoboda.[16]

Along with human rights lawyer Olga Tomchin, Zabrisky has co-produced various seminars on propaganda.[17][18] In 2018, Zabrisky presented at the Byline Festival in the UK on alleged connections between President Donald Trump and Russia, hybrid war, the "mafia state" and global alt-right movements.[19][20][21]

Journalism
Zabrisky is currently based in Odesa, Ukraine.[22] From the beginning of the 2022 full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, Zabrisky has been reporting on the war in Ukraine for Euromaidan Press,[23] Byline Times[24] and A Community Alliance,[25] and has been published in The Paris Review[26] and various other publications.

Personal life
Born in St. Petersburg, Zabrisky is of Jewish[27][28] origin and has stated that she moved to the United States at an age "young enough to forget when it was, and old enough to keep my accent". She has previously held jobs as a kickboxing instructor, oilfield translator, travel co-ordinator and business liaison in Kazakhstan, street artist and masseuse.[29][30]

Zabrisky received a degree in English language and Literature at the Philological Faculty at St. Petersburg State University (the alma mater of Putin, Medvedev and Sechin.) This course allegedly contained training in propaganda and brainwashing techniques.[31]

Collateral damage is one thing, that is a sad fact of war. But deliberately targeting civilians specifically in order to make them casualties is evil, and nullifies any moral case for fighting the war.

The conclusion drawn from your statement is that we ended up having no moral case (or abdicated it) for fighting WWII then, because we did deliberately target civilians. There’s no ifs/ands/or buts about it.

Civilians support or tolerate their leadership. They provide a tax base, labor, and material support for their leadership. To argue that they don’t have “skin in the game” in a conflict is absurd. You can effortlessly find video of civilian populations cheering their leadership/side on in war, digging out and soldiering on after being bombed, industrial equipment in their burned out homes, etc...

The only reason the deference to civilians attitude finds purchase here is due to us being isolated from any other tier 1 power and our being the penultimate badasses on this planet. If/when we are engaged in a conflict with a tier 1 power that threatens the territorial integrity or existence of the U.S. you can take to the bank that we are going to attempt to kill members of the opposing forces people by any means available until they stop, are defeated, or God forbid defeat us...
