No real Plague of Lonely Leftist Cat Women in our life.

My wife and I are in our mid 80’s and many of the widows in our group have buried their long time husbands.

Many if not most have adopted cats after their husband passed away.

They were conservatives with their previous husbands and still are conservatives with their new cats.

Cats live longer than dogs and make good companions for these widows.

If you want to get a way for a couple of days give the box a thorough cleaning, fill a tower feeder and a water tower and kitty will be just fine.

Good point, especially because canine bereavements hurt like hell. I know. I lost my wonderful Great Dane, Canute, at the beginning of 2021 and it still hurts. I have one remaining dog and we’re in a contest to see which of us outlives the other.

The only thing wrong with Danes is their tragically short lifespans.
