It shouldn’t ... Nobody buys Iranian oil... Except Russia and China. Europe and North America’s supply shouldn’t be affected by Israel’s coming air strikes.
The supplies in the West wouldn't be directly affected... but the price of the oil on the markets would. It's a global commodity and supply & demand still function. If you limit supply in the marketplace--even if it's going to specific customers--you will drive prices higher globally.
but the Biden Admin will make sure the price goes up everywhere
Not true. This is Biden’s latest stupid idea, but consistent with his Green New Deal. Bombing their oil fields takes their output off the market. China and Russia won’t stop buying oil, they will just have to find new sellers because global supplies are now less. The end result will be higher prices for oil, including in the US. Biden will be happy as this fits in with the Green New Deal objectives. Please, someone given him a cup of pudding and send him to bed where he can do no harm.
Meanwhile, a more appropriate response would be to take out Iran’s bomb development buildings and all of their missiles and launch facilities.
Russia does not import any Iranian oil.
Regards,
You are right, but, we have insane democrats running our government who would use the event to declare a gas shortage with the consequences that go with it.
You have to remember l, Iran can and will shut down the straits of Hormuz.
The Left’s MO-—blame everyone else for the problems they have caused....If we lifted the regulations here and red tape it wouldn’t matter too much.
You don’t think that Obozo and Bidet buy it on the down low to fund the Iranians...
If they can’t buy Iranian oil then they will uy elsewhere, raising prices everywhere.
For me, I would pay twice the price tor energy to see the mullahs go broke and be overthrown.
China would have to adjust by buying from those suppliers to Europe. There are other Asian countries in the mix too, Japan, S. Korea, etc. Even if it doesn’t seem “connected”. most everything is.
I continue to maintain that Israel should take out Iran’s refined products capability. That goes mostly to domestic consumption. So, flatten their refineries, refined products IMPORT terminals, and any major refined products storage. No fuel - Iran grinds to a halt.
And, I should add, Iranian crude that was going to their refineries now has nowhere to go but export. If anything, that would cause a small drop in global prices.
