Union boss who threatened to ‘cripple’ economy lives in luxe 7,000 square-foot mansion

Harold Daggett — the union boss who has vowed to “cripple” the US economy if ports don’t ban automation and raise dockworkers’ wages sharply — had a Bentley convertible parked outside his sprawling mansion in New Jersey this week, exclusive photos obtained by The Post reveal.

Photos taken by drone on Tuesday show the British luxury car parked with its top up outside what appears to be a five-car garage that’s connected to his 7,136-square-foot, Tudor-style home by a covered skyway.

---SNIP--- He described himself as a target of the mob – though a turncoat Mafia member had testified Daggett was a member of the Genovese crime family, The New York Times reported.

During the course of the trial, one of Daggett’s co-defendants – Lawrence Ricci, an alleged Genovese associate – disappeared. His body was found weeks later decomposing in the trunk of a car outside a New Jersey diner.

Hit piece by the communists: I have found it typical that people that migrate to the top of the org chart behave this way and it is normal. The people that deal with people make the most money and they typically have a lot of stuff.

” I have found it typical that people that migrate to the top of the org chart behave this way and it is normal.”

No it’s not normal. We have one news source saying the average dock worker makes $84K/year and another news source saying the average is $900K/year.

No one is accusing the dockworkers of being honest. And I think that is the issue and a hint at the real problem: amorality. >>> Dictionary.com

I remember them striking in the 70s when the inflation rate also far exceeded the CPI rate. So back we go to hoarding, rationing and trading.

Compared to the Screen Actors Guild's boss?

SAG-AFTRA’s national executive director Duncan Crabtree-Ireland led the pack with a gross salary of $1,016,182, according to the labor group’s latest LM-2 filing, a form of annual financial reports for unions. He was followed by Directors Guild of America national executive director Russell Hollander, with a gross salary of $775,000, and Writers Guild of America West executive director Ellen Stutzman, whose gross wages constituted $682,692.

Union bosses seem to make a lot of money, whether their union members deal with the essentials of life, or with leisure/entertainment.

This man is despicable! He sounded like a mobster when I first heard him speak, then it came out that he’s connected to organized crime — the Genovese family, IIRC — in some way.

The Union boss got his members an ultra rich package of wages, benefits are super working conditions

Those contract gains prolly triggered the bonus packages that paid for his current lifestyle

Unions have outlived their usefulness now that we have employment laws on the books.
