99% sure no F-35s were lost.
To: faithhopecharity
Yeah, I agree. I would be surprised if they hit even one.
These are not precision weapons. They are essentially like V2s of WWII.... prob a little more accurate, but not much.
And I am guessing the Israelis do not keep such an expensive asset out in rows on a flight line for normal storage. I don’t know, but I bet they protect them well with SAMs and Iron Dome... and revetments to protect from fragmentation from nearby explosions.
Don’t know the truth here, but no, Iran did not blow up 30 F-35s.
Also my Lockheed stock would have spiked.

at one time, Lockheed decided there was no future in the defense business. they were trying (unsuccessfully) to reposition themselves. I still recall the Lockheed home toaster (they hoped to sell to banks as free premiums for you to open your account there)

Reports are that they didn’t use many if any Fatahs. Those observed seem to be ballistics only.

Debris from intercepted missiles. Far too slow descent to be powered or uninterrupted flight, IMHO. and it looks like it all fell in the sand, not on the airbase. Be interesting to know what really happened.Yes, and no IRBM would be burning on the way down. That would be a post boost phase long after booster burnout.
Second there are no secondaries. If they hit any targets of value, particularly aircraft, there would be a spectacular light show.
Third look at the sources, Sputnik and the muzzies?? Both know for outright fabrication of their "facts".

The Iranians just screwed the pooch.
Now Israel has all the justification necessary to destroy their nuke program, the IRGC and the government.
I hope they don’t go after their oil industry or civilian infrastructure. Costs to much to replace and some how the US always gets stuck with the bill.

Yep, the IDF said “Iran launched missiles at us. Let’s just let the F35s sit on the ground.”

What a clown. Many of those rockets were burning during decent and tumbling. They were not hypersonic, more like burning junk.
