KYIV, Ukraine (AP) – Ukraine´s air defenses battled an overnight Russian aerial attack on the capital Kyiv for five hours, officials said Thursday, as missiles and drones again hammered the Ukrainian power grid.

The Kyiv attack injured at least two people, Ukraine´s Emergency Service said. A kindergarten, a gas pipe and around 20 cars were damaged in the city, said the Kyiv Military Administration.

In western Ukraine, the air force said, Russia fired three Kinzhal hypersonic ballistic missiles – one of Russia´s most advanced weapons – “in the direction of” Starokostiantyniv, a city in the Khmelnytskyi region, on Thursday morning. The air force said it could not make further information public, suggesting the missiles were aimed at a sensitive site.

How many times has Russia tried this already?

And it’s had zero effect on the Ukrainian war effort.

Russia has destroyed most of the power grid and underlying infrastructure through bombing. The 50 Billion dollars in aid promised to Ukraine in loans by the west is evaporating because people know the Urkaine can't win. Zelensky is telling the UN General Assembly that his victory plan is to have the west get directly into war with Russia. Westerners are declining to support him, because they know Ukraine can't win.

Putin’s FUBAR failed invasion, now in its *32nd* month of failure, lol

Wouldn’t have lasted this long if Russia was actually winning!

“That peace has Russia keeping the provinces that overwhelming voted to join Russia”

How many of those votes came from the Russian troops occupying the area?

How many of those votes were cast under threat of execution?

Canuck, you've already quit. Why are you still hanging around? Don't you have some snow to shovel?

It’s true you keepers are relics from the cold war that ended get over it. Russia is not giving those places back they have Russian citizens in them the Russian Congress has already admitted them to the federation and Ukraine lost them in battle that’s how land changes hands.Mexico found that out with Texas and later with California and AZ too.

Negotiate for peace and accept that loss. It’s that simple Trump is going to end the funding as he should us tax payers are tired of giving money to corrupt Ukraine. I don’t care if Russia takes the whole country of Ukraine its not a USA problem if the Europeans want to get froggy by all means jump. Not a dollar more from the USA. Boomer cold war crusty old dudes are insufferable when they get a boner for wanting to fight Russia. News flash we won the cold war the USSR us long gone and the only white Christian nation standing up to the globalhomo fascists is Russia if they want the Russian speaking, Russian majority populated parts of the failed nation of Ukraine have it that’s not a USA problem. I expect Trump to end funding nearly day one just the word that funding is over will end the conflict as a peace would have the be signed or total Ukrainian defeat is inevitable.

Russia is holding off 28 other countries, massive economic sanctions, western intelligence services…

I’d say Putin has played his chess game pretty well so far.

The danger is that hard liners get impatient enough to replace him.

Zelensky has the exact same threat, but from patriot Ukies.

Time will tell who goes first.

It’s conjecture the legal term for you assertion that voters were at gun point or duress. I would bet there voting which is on paper is cleaner than ours and that says something as well.

Russia is not forcing citizens in those area’s to stay any one who was at gun point as you say could simply head East into Ukraine. Since there hasn’t been a mass exodus one could reach the conclusion that maybe those Russian speaking people want to be there. It irrelevant it’s not a USA problem nor in our national interest of the dumbas Crimea is Russian flagged or not. Trump will end this nonsense, and no way UKE gets in NATO under Trump he should kick Turkey out while he is at it.

Your mention of Russian Hardliners replacing Putin reminds me a little of the joke placard/poster I see for sale at gun shows. It has a photo of Hitler in uniform saying, “When I get back, no more Mister Nice Guy!” Usually sold at tables also selling laminated Biden urinal stickers and copies of ‘The Turner Diaries’.

Russia is not giving those places back they have Russian citizens in them.

They have more Ukrainians in them.

News flash we won the cold war the USSR us long gone and the only white Christian nation standing up to the globalhomo fascists is Russia if they want the Russian speaking, Russian majority populated parts of the failed nation of Ukraine have it that’s not a USA problem.

Support for Ukraine has nothing to do with the Cold War. It is just the support for Ukraine to be free from Russian domination. Additionally, the only Russian majority province is Crimea. Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson all have majority Ukrainian populations; the latter two by wide margins. Ukrainian surrender might end the war but it will not bring peace to the region. It will only lead to Russian domination of the Ukrainian people.

A snap referendum held under military occupation without a period of open public debate, a vote count by Russian authorities, conducted by a corrupt government, and with unbelievable majorities; yeah, who would question it?

Actually, those missiles started in Kiev and flew backwards to attack Russia. Ukraine attacked Russia. Not the other way around.

If Radio Moscow said this the Putridnistas on FR would believe it.

The real question is, how much of Ukraine's electric grid no longer functions. The estimates are 80% of it.

The Russians have proven they have the ability to take out the entire grid. Only someone delusional would deny that.
