This includes most of my family. Time to pay attention. Did they forget to include Polk county?

Saints fans are watching closely since they play the Falcons this Sunday in Atlanta. It’s possible the game could be moved to the Superdome.

As of now we're outside the cone, but that could change at any moment. More than once in the 38 years I've lived in Polk Co FL a hurricane wasn't supposed to hit here, and then at the last moment it decided to come through the middle of the state (Charley, Irma, among others).

I remember Charley and Irma very well. Enough to wonder why Polk was off the list. Maybe it will be added as we get closer.

My family was devastated. It was a very difficult time.

I don’t think P’Cola will get the worst of this one, but I’m still staying away from the beach.

I guess even the weather doesn’t want to mess with Sheriff Judd.

They missed Lake County too. We definitely will get at least the outer bands all day Thursday and Friday.

See wind patterns anywhere on the planet. Zoom in/out. Click on a spot and see exact WIND SPEED.

It appears the storm is going to hit the panhandle and then move straight up through Georgia. Even NE Georgia is going to get a lot of rain and damaging winds. Parts of southwest Georgia are still suffering from the effects of Hurricane Michael in 2018.

This storm may be a biggy. Hopefully, something will happen and it will not be as intense as some are predicting.

My county not on the list. That’s a good thing. Five just west of us are, which means we WILL get wind and lots of rain. Praying for all the others.

Some here were mocking folks for watching the other potential storms. I’ll be watching this one because a little westerly drift and it could hit me - and, after going through Katrina and some others, I’ll be praying for those in the path...even a “weak” Cat2 can ruin your day.

They missed Lake County too. We definitely will get at least the outer bands all day Thursday and Friday.

I live in Sumter about 2 miles south of Marion, and half a mile west of Lake.

My sister lives in Lake about a mile from Sumter. I kid you not, I can't tell you the number of times the weather in her area is drastically different from mine. Raining there, not raining here, vice versa. It's really bizarre. All of Lake will be under deluge, dry as a bone at home.

Sometimes it’s pouring three miles up the road and bone dry at home. The weather is strange here.
