Colorado Gov. Jared Polis (D) on Sunday defended the city of Aurora as a diverse and growing place with declining violent crime, after former President Trump attacked the city and the governor personally at a rally on Saturday.
In an interview on CBS News’s “Face the Nation,” moderator Margaret Brennan noted the Trump campaign has frequently pointed to Aurora as an example of the worst of the migrant crisis, and on Saturday, he took aim at the city and the governor once again at a rally.

Trump attacks?
Ok
Breitbart sucks
It’s official
Should have bought the German Shepherd to protect herself.
German shepherds have a protective instinct for their adopters. My three German shepherds will cower from rabbits and lizards but go on full alert if they see a stranger in the neighborhood. Her dog will do the same.
“willful suspension of disbelief”, I think, originated from the movie business a long time ago. You know it’s not real, you know you are sitting in a theater with 100s of other people, and you know it’s projected onto a screen. And yet many people get captivated by it, jump when they try scare you, cry when they show a sad scene etc. People should disbelieve what they see but willfully suspend that for the thrill.
No reason the phenomenon can’t also apply to news or politicians etc.
Aurora may be a beautiful place except for all the crime and if you don’t intrude on some gang’s turf. Politicians always lie. The news also lies. They often lie by omission, or by just answering in technical manner like “we have no credible reports”. That’s not the same as saying they have no reports, or that they don’t have other evidence. It’s actually an admission meant to sound like a denial - a way of saying they have reports but choose not to believe them or investigate and you don’t know their motive for being intentionally deceptive and misleading But it sounds like a denial and many people take it that way - just as they intended it to.
“ Did you see Jaws?”
There were some people who were allegedly harmed by a marine animal but…
I mean if you dont know Jaws …
There’s
the constitution
Declaration
Nat’l anthem
Baseball
Wizard of oz
Jaws
At least it was on the East Coast.
[No, I've never seen but a few clips from Jaws.]
Statistically, Colorado Springs is not as bad as Aurora. But it’s getting there. I’d never move there either.

I saw gang graffiti in Aurora 15 years ago.
Do yourself a favor
Tune your firestick in to prime or log on to Apple and just sit with it
Now.
I still recall the Aurora late-night movie theater shooter dressed up as a Batman villain.
That’s the mayor from the town in Jaws telling everyone everything is OK, come to the beach.
Is it them again, Booboo?
Both!
Except for the hospital complex and arguably the AF Base, Aurora has been a dump in decline long before the current invasion of illegal aliens. Only a govenor with his head up his husband’s askme, would believe otherwise.
Of course it’s a wonderful city. That’s part of why Tren de Aoogah likes it so much.

Excellent movie..... for dumbing down the viewers. Just like the Speilberg (made for tv) movie ‘Duel’ (that accellerated his director career before Jaws).
Both movies drag on when they could have been over in a 30 minute sitcom.
In Duel, Dennis Weaver could have been long gone at the first big hill the loaded semi-tanker had to climb. Instead, a loaded semi manages to keep up and harass a nimble car. As a 17 year old teenager driver I found the movie incredibly stupid.
Took a date to see Jaws when it came out. Soda pop put her in borderline drunk condition. By half way through the movie she was laughing at about every scene. I thought, during the Robert Shaw character’s testimony of floating in the ocean, being a survivor of a sunken WW2 warship, hearing the screams of fellow sailors being eaten alive by sharks...
... and instead of having a passion to fill it with lead from high powered rifles when it surfaces for bait, the guy wants to catch the big shark like a prize. Between the date laughing, and the absurd storyline, that movie could end soon enough for me.
Murray Hamilton.
Also played Mr. Robinson in “The Graduate.”
He played the Angel of Death on an early “Twilight Zone” episode. I saw that episode on Pluto TV the other day.

Looney tunes
North and East Aurora are completed utter sh*tholes. Trust me. South Aurora is quickly going that way.
