Like abortion, IVF should be a state’s issue.
It should be a people’s issue.
Why should I pay for someone to breed. If you can’t afford to pay to have them yourselves, you can sure bet you can’t afford to feed them and support them and maybe you shouldn’t have them.
Furious?
I hate these “gotta grab ‘em” headlines.
Too bad Cotton didn’t fight harder on January 6th, and reject Biden’s fraudulent electors.
I don’t understand why we have a social program for this.
Reduce taxes and crime and let people feel better to have children.
These female media show hosts are cut from the same cloth, so nasty and so far left liberal, then they proceed to insert their bias and wrong opinions 24/7.
IVF kills.
Slavery helped flourish the livelihoods of plantation owning couples like IVF flourishes the lives of other loving couples.
Exclude one whole group and it’s a WIN.
Indeed and some women have to stop thinking with their crotch and our tax money.
They are people and should not be thrown away.
The ethics issue is that many viable people die in the attempt for a “success.” Then all the rest of them are either “permanently” frozen or thrown out.
Still trying to find where in that pesky constitution thingie, that the power to regulate reproduction is granted to the fed......
Those amendments were not posted but are for abortion on demand, free immigration, citizens pay for illegals, and a host of DEI sub amendments.
The ex-president on the campaign trail has called for the government paying for or ensuring insurance pays all costs for fertility treatment
Sorry Donnie, I already pay enough insurance costs for all the rest of the crotch care.
Don't forget that one of those people is the person who is the embryo from the IVF process. And not all of the embryos produced from IVF end up being implanted in the mother.
Some are used for laboratory experimentation, before they are discarded.
Some are and remain cryogenically frozen, although occasionally one managed to be unfrozen, implanted in an adoptive mother's womb, and then finally to be born, as in the case of the 24-year-old frozen embryo now known as Emma Wren.
Other IVF frozen embryos may end up making a profit for jewelers who turn the embryos into jewelry a woman can wear around her neck, wrist, or finger.
IVF issue shouldn’t be on the radar. It’s only for the baby killing left to start fights and gotcha questions. A state issue has no crossover to a federal elected politician. Caitlin can shove it.
If all of the Democrats and caucusing independents voted FOR this bill there has to be other things in it beyond ‘just IVF,’ IMO. You just can’t trust a Democrat on their word.
Also, I don’t know why Kaitlin is so worried about it ‘looking’ so much like a man. :0)
People may vote for Kamala over this and if Trump pre-empts it by supporting it in some fashion he wins.
We can do nothing to help and will have everything to lose if Trump does not win. Let’s focus on winning and keep our eyes on the ball. Am tired of Republicans practicing being good losers on principle.
You are right. When I first heard of IVF, I thought it was all about bringing life into the world. But then I learned about all the fertilized eggs that are either discarded or “permanently” frozen. It can be a pretty horrific procedure, if you consider that life begins at conception.
