Jane Fonda went door-to-door in Michigan to campaign for Kamala Harris ahead of the presidential election - leaving a bad taste in the mouths of some Americans who haven't forgiven the actress for a 1972 political stunt in Vietnam.
The 86-year-old activist was featured in a video posted by Kamala for Michigan hugging a resident of Ann Arbor and asking for the woman's support.
'I've never done it for a president, but this is most important. We have to, have to, have to get [Harris and Walz] elected,' Fonda, dressed in a pinstriped gray suit, told the woman.

The Whore of Hanoi goes Door to Door?
I hope she overexerts herself.

Let Jane darken my door. I have some choice words for her. Traitor is the kindest.

If she came to my door, I’d shake her hand while slipping her a piece of paper that says “GO TO HELL.” Then I’d spit in her face.

Was she wearing her NVA anti-aircraft helmet? The article doesn’t say.

If I remember correctly some guy in Kansas City actually did spit on her when she came to town for a promotion.

Those old hags hugging her were probably some of these girls on the 60s.

If that woman stepped foot on my Father’s front porch, it would have been front page news. He would lose his mind when that woman came on the tv. I truly hope a Vietnam Vet kicks her commie a$$.

My brain read that as “Jane Fonda goes to the doctor...” and I thought that was possibly good news, because there are hundreds of thousands of aging veterans out there who won’t be able to hold their bladder much longer.

Yep. I saw these folks at the "Gathering of Eagles" to defend the Leftist desecrations of the monuments to the dead that they said they intended to inflict:

No vets in Ann Arbor except maybe John Kerry types.
In Detroit, she’d be robbed and the camera would be gone.

This was me with the DC Chapter of Free Republic standing out there at the Arlington Circle at the head of the bridge from the Lincoln Memorial:

We had a group of Marines back from Iraq who were visiting the gravesite of one of their buddies at Arlington who had been killed there, and this was one reaction captured on film that made it onto the front page of one of the versions of the Washington post:

His friend behind him was trying to hold him back as the Leftist protestors taunted him.
And they did inflict damage:

I was later told they had to replace those panels.
