The Russian government is speaking out against the apparent use of exploding pagers to simultaneously strike thousands of individuals connected with a terrorist group in Lebanon.
"What has happened, whatever it is, is certainly leading to an escalation of tensions," Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told the press, according to translations from Agence France-Presse.
"The region itself is in an explosive situation," he added. "And every incident like this has the potential to be a trigger."

Always complaining about "escalation" after starting the conflict.
KGB just sad they didn’t think of it first...
Now there are reports that other devices, like two-way radio devices, are exploding in Hezbollah’s hands also.
Putin is taking precautions.
His communications devices are all now in the hands of a ‘volunteer’ who is in charge of answering any calls of texts. Only after a few minutes from the call or text, will Putin be handed the device. But even then Putin will have the device on speakerphone and the screen enlarged from about 10 feet away.
Hezbollah is Putin’s ally and so is Iran. All deserving to be very careful.
Hey, Putin: “Z” has your “number”.
Who says Russians don’t have a sense of humor?
Checking pager... moving it a distance away.
Seriously? Who uses pagers these days
(”The region itself is in an explosive situation)
Literally.
Even many of the most ardent unbelievers know that Armageddon will happen over Jerusalem and the Temple Mount.
This will NEVER be solved all the way to Armageddon.
That’s why Satan’s Antichrist is going to fool the world ๐๐๐ when he “confirms” the 7-years of ‘Peace and Security’
Most don’t believe it’s coming.
We don’t already have Mark of the Antichrist Beast technology by coincidence.
Serves Hezbollah right for cultural appropriation of white, western technology. They should be using what stone age simpletons used for communication, sticks in dirt.

Oh, eff off, Dmitry!
I don’t care what Russia thinks, But I have to admit that I don’t know if all this accomplished much since it sounds like most of them survived to fight another day. Only in a more angry state.
Business is booming.
The terrorist group moved to pagers because they thought the smart phones were not secure enough.
IF intercepted the shipment and rigged them.
Well done, IF. Great way to kill terrorists and minimize collateral damage.
I really though this was a Babylon Bee headline.
Except now Israel know who they, their associates, their family and friends all are. It should make it much easier to kill the angry terrorists next time.
It certainly was - for Hezbollah! Ha ha!
“Seriously? Who uses pagers these days”
Phones are 2-way, they transmit. Not a good idea given the electronic intercept capability of The Jew. Pagers are different, they are passive, so messages, such as when to terrorize The Jew, can be safely sent and received. So, if it’s a simultaneous missile strike - pagers are perfect to transmit the instructions.
