The immigration act of 1965 was signed into law by Democrat Lyndon B. Johnson.

Yep, I've been telling people about C-P almost as long as I've been on FR (20 years next June). In 2008 I was warning friends and family that Obama was going to attempt to take the country down the socialist C-P path. Redistribute the wealth, all that stuff.
But, you know, talking about it makes one a Conspiracy Theorist, right>
