He might be on to something.
Turn this into a Trump ad pronto.

On another FR thread, there was a discussion about buying silver in case things got really bad. Trade silver coins for food and other necessities.
A second poster disagreed. Better to buy 22 ammo. 22 bullets would make the perfect barter item.
I think the second poster is more correct. But if we get to that point, I suspect that roving gangs would just take what they want. There’d be no friendly bartering at the marketplace.
That we’re even talking about this shows what a mess the Democrats have put us in.
Sad, that it may come down to plata o plomo, if the libs steal another one.
I’m just repeating what I heard. I don’t have any weapons (I’m poor) so I would be one of the first casualties in an armed conflict.
Very, very true......
Illegal criminal aliens are a democrat imported product the two years was 20 years ago.
The illegal alien invasion is not a Trojan horse. The The Trojans had be hoodwinked to allow troops in to open the gates. The Biden administration is busily freighting the hostiles in. Same outcome.
Which would only be a temporary fix.
Sadly, the only thing to stop them, because otherwise, they WILL be back, is to be removed from the land of the living.

If that’s just a head fake to confuse the ATF snoops, good move.
But if you’re serious, I would suggest a good used 22 caliber revolver. Just be sure to get a quality one: Colt, S&W, etc. Don’t buy no-name junk. Then buy a box of 22 hollow points. If you’ve got kids around and no safe, store the gun in a high place. Store the box far away from the gun.
That’s it. You’re good to go. Except for one more thing. During the Kosovo War, civilians caught in the middle valued cans of Dinty Moore beef stew above all else. So buy a case or two. Store it someplace cool. It will last unopened for decades.
If you have guns you can have food.
Whoever said that must not realize how much guns are used for hunting.
Course, honestly, when I was growing up in the suburbs of Buffalo, I knew almost nothing about hunting or the number of people who did it.
The only people who had guns were cops and criminals.
That mentality is still alive in many places I think, based on what I encounter when I go visit family still in the Buffalo area.
The roving gangs are not going to be able to just take anything they want.
They will meet resistance. They might be paying a high price for that ammo.
Good advice. Many canned meats can be stored for years. Be secretive, and don’t brag about preparation.
Yes, that is a very important point. I know people who brag about how many guns they have, how much money they have hidden in the basement, etc. They are all idiots.
And it doesn’t have to be a social breakdown. It could just be a tweaker overhearing a conversation.
“Tren de Aragua has threatened to kill (and, in certain instances, has apparently actively attempted to kill) members of Whispering Pines management...”
“the property has recorded footage of gang members knocking on doors and, without authorization or any other justification, attempting to collect rent from the tenants of Whispering Pines...”
Thank your local/state and federal politicians for emboldening these criminal invaders.
THEY ARE THE PEOPLE WHO ARE RESPONSIBLE.
To deal with gangs, perhaps something which might be called disassociation probation might be judicially ordered upon conviction for a crime involving theft, violence or threat.
If a law enforcement officer sees people under disassociation prohibition associating, that law enforcement office might require them to disassociate. If they are recorded by a law enforcement officer associating again, they would then all be subject to punishment for any crime any one of them commits. Law enforcement officers often wear body cams, so this would be easy to implement.
He’s optimistic. I give it 1 year.
