Judge delays Trump sentencing in hush money case until November(After Election)

A New York judge has delayed former President Donald Trump's sentencing on felony criminal charges until Nov. 26.

"This is not a decision this Court makes lightly but it is the decision which in this Court's view, best advances the interests of justice," Judge Juan Merchan wrote in the decision handed down Friday.

The only thing I can take form this is --- The election is completely rigged and they know they are going to win. If they knew there was a chance of Trump winning they would have thrown him in jail before the election. Thats really the only take away I can see from this.

As much as I want to believe 100000000000 Trump supporters would show up in NY to protest - I dont believe it would happen in NY - they wouldn't allow it.

The court case was to assist Biden, who is no longer there, and Kamala did not deserve or earn the court’s assist.

This theory makes no sense. If the intent was to jail Trump in order to ensure a Biden victory, then the same favor would have been extended to Kamala. For the Dems, a Kamala presidency is still infinitely better than another Trump administration.

The Democrats backed down because a Trump jail sentence very seriously could have resulted in some states forming and holding a constitutional convention later this year. They're not ready to deal with that sort of thing for now.

Yes it’s a state case. POTUS can’t pardon this. Only the NY Gov or the NY Clemency Board process or an appeals court could undo a jail sentence.

I dont think it would have been / will be a civil war. Civilians fighting civilians. Breakaway states etc. Just look at the size of MAGA supporters and how its growing at the same time that the liberal/woke crowd is shrinking. When/if the people ever take to the streets, the size/scope of the ratio of both sides will be shocking. It will be a red eclipse and the blue side will just disappear like it was never there to begin with. Civil war? Nah. Revolution? I hope so. It's just a theory, with some common sense inserted about the players in question. Think about it, Kamala with absolutely no accomplishments in her life, other than rising to somewhat important 'positions' based on her sleeping with a person in a high-level position, AND then, consider who was doing the bidding for Biden, including the judge in the case the and the prosecutor (Bragg) who brought the case. All people involved were doing the case for Biden, and all of whom got to their positions on merit (if one considers being minorities status to be a merit). Those people who did everything they could, even if through lawfare, did not have Kamala in mind when they made sure that Trump was found guilty. And, they would be elevating Kamala to a status way beyond what any of them could ever achieve. Kamala didn't earn or deserve to be above them in any capacity, let alone the presidency. People do compete and become jealous when someone gets a promotion ahead of them, and this was the most egregious of promotions. They were working for Biden and not Kamala. Diben was president and she was 'just there' That's very humiliating for those who 'worked hard' to get the indictment and guilty verdict.

A Kamala presidency is what the democrats are after, but there is still a lot of jealousy with those involved in the case who did not get the results they got for Kamala.

That too is a theory. The prevailing theory is that it would have resulted in angering the people which would result in Trump getting the presidency because ot the election interference. I believe in the angered people theory more than a constitutional convention because of Trump being jailed.

They're not ready to deal with that sort of thing for now.

Democrats will do anything to keep Trump out of the white house. The last 9 years of 'get Trump at any cost' should prove that. A Trump in jail mugshot with with prison garb, would be the ultimate insult, and that mugshot would be used before the election and even after the election if Trump were to become president. The criminal minds of the democrats leads them to do whatever it takes and at all costs if necessary.
