I’m very conflicted over how much gaslighting we are really getting.
Do women like other women? My experience says, “No”.
Do black women like Kamala who isn’t black? I’m not sure, but I think “No”.
Do Liberal white women like Kamala? I get told that they do all the time. And maybe it’s true.
But I know a lot of women who would refuse to work for a woman — they tend to make terrible bosses.
And witness the turnover in Kamala’s office. No one wanted to work for her.
The media keeps telling me that it’s exciting to contemplate the idea of the first female president. Is it? And is Kamala how they want to start that ball rolling?
I do expect the steal.
I expect them to gaslight us on things like “first woman president” to a huge extent so that it seems “plausible” when she wins easily.
But I don’t think anyone likes her. Not hardly anyone.
They'll overlook that as long as they think Kamala will go after men they don't like.
The “Sisterhood of the Vagina” is a poor foundation to build upon, if that is all you have.
Strong women in recent history, that could serve ably and well in the presidency, Condolezza Rice is definitely top of the list. Serving in the Bush-43 administration. she was first National Security Advisor, then US Secretary of State. Not as an assistant, not as a “token, but a highly competent individual who carried an imposing aura of power wherever she went. I was frankly disappointed when she left national politics, as that was an opportunity not taken, but perhaps the best test of any person for fitness of office is the reluctance to take on the burdens of serving in the capacity of high office. Not because it would have been beyond her competence, but because of a certain reticence to be in the public spotlight constantly.
If you want to take the measure of any person for a high position, Condolezza Rice is the level to aspire to. Even Herself, Hillary Clinton, was pretty much of a slouch when it came to doing the job, but then Herself is kind of lazy and indolent, bored with the details and frankly, drudgery of upholding a competent standard.
And “Que mala” Harris is - nowhere.
I believe it was Mencken who observed: a misogynist is a man who hates women as much as they hate each other.
