Four people fatally shot on a commuter train in the Chicago area early Monday appeared to be attacked while asleep in their seats, police said in an afternoon update.
The victims, whose names, ages, and genders were still unavailable, appeared to be asleep, were seated apart, and did not resist the attack, the Forest Park Police Department said, citing a review of security footage.
A suspect has been taken into custody and a weapon was recovered, Forest Park Deputy Chief Chris Chin said at a news conference.
The motive remained unknown. The name of the person in custody was not released.

When there are no repercussions for crimes, then crimes will continue. Such as this:

This is the Blue Line train from O’Hare; that all victims were “sleeping” may have meant they were vagrants who just stay on the train.
And why not murder people with impunity

The greatest punishment you might receive is "life" imprisonment.

The cops say no further danger expected to the public, one could conclude the killer acted alone and there isn’t a blood crazed assistant killer still out and about, why not release that killer’s name?
What are they hiding ?
