Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s name is likely to remain on the ballot in key states in November in what could inadvertently threaten former President Trump despite the independent candidate suspending his campaign and endorsing Trump.
Kennedy said he would push to be removed from the ballot in battlegrounds that will help determine who wins the White House, but as of now, officials say voters will see him appear as a candidate in Michigan, Wisconsin and North Carolina when they head to the polls.
Polls had shown Kennedy draining support from Trump before he suspended his bid, raising the likelihood that his presence in certain states could impact the results even where he’s no longer running.

Easy way to stop this make sure RFK Jr is visible in the key states. People will get the message (at least his cadre of voters I reckon)
Sure , Trump will pick up a minimum of 2-3 pct of the rfk vote even with his name on the ballot
Cmon man
Trump campaign needs to get some ads into those 10 states featuring Kennedy urging people to NOT vote for him.
... Even better if he’s with Trump
I would argue that where JFK, jr. is most likely to take away votes from Trump are the states where Trump is most secure. The net result is a positive for Trump.
Oh yes he could do it via Ads too
Great idea.

Democrats playing more games with ballots since they can’t win playing fair. Isn’t that a ‘threat to democracy?’
We have stupid ballot laws in the states, given the many modern methods we have for making last minute changes. That a candidate who has removed themself from a race well before the day of voting will remain on the ballot anyway, due to no longer valid time constraints, shows we are idiots for not chaning the laws and rules regarding those ballots.
Weird how they were able to remove pedojoe’s name lickety split, but can’t seem to remove RKFj r’s
This is what worried me from the start. He only suspended and he is on the ballot in most other states and now we find out he isn’t really off the ballot in all swing states.
I am not liking this.
His own path to winning he described himself in his speech when he suspended.
This may be okay so I won’t get all wee we’ed up. Who knows?
I find it hard to believe that Kennedy hurts Trump more than he hurts Harris. He only ascribes to a few things we ascribe to, the rest is all Democrat-drawing ideas. Older Democrats who loved JFK but who can’t stand Harris would probably love to vote for a Kennedy again.
Obviously, I meant RFK jr. not JFK,
Now do am article on the dangers of Cornell West beingbon the ballot in certain blue states
Let’s try that again. Now do an article on the dangers of Cornell West being on the ballot in certain blue states.
Sorry, typing on my phone on the beach
Yes it’s not ideal but only a few states and if it’s a problem im sure it can be addressed with ads or appearances
... and as another Frepper just said the assumption he hurts Trump is laughable. He’s a Dem and still is on many, many issues
He just doesn’t buy into the DNC and the corruption
i’d love to see some real polling on that. I suspect that RFK takes more from Trump in rustbelt states where trump has previous brought out independent type people that never voted much before, and that RFK takes more from camel toe in other states. I almost have to wonder if RFK can swipe enough from camel toe in a blue state to turn it to Trump.
We will only know post-election so don’t fret
Small margins though isn’t it if truly is this tight.
Hopefully it wont matter
If you support RFK Jr... And you vote for anybody other than Trump... You may not be smart enough to vote.
Most thinking people will get the message loud and clear
He just needs to show up and tell people. He is.
