“The Hoh Rainforest, located in Olympic National Park, is one of the largest temperate rainforests in the U.S., with moss-draped trees and serene hiking trails.”

We thought about moving near Crescent City or Eureka california. Another temperate rainforest with redwood groves. I actually thought the temperature would be perfect for me, high 50s and low 60s year round. I like it on the cool side. Gardening would have been a problem though. Not to mention remaining in California. But I thought it would be nice to send hubby salmon fishing every week!

Did you ever watch that YouTube link I sent you? If I recall the area where the guy said he would let the right people homestead on a part of his land was near Eureka or maybe it was Yreka. I get those two mixed up.
