January 6 Political Prisoners Launch Historic $50 Billion Class Action Lawsuit Against DOJ
https://freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/4286719/posts
In a groundbreaking legal battle, over 100 January 6 political prisoners have come together to file what is being hailed as the largest lawsuit ever against the Department of Justice.
Officially named the January 6 Restitution and Wrongful Incarceration Lawsuit, this $50 billion class action is spearheaded by Jake Lang, a January 6 prisoner who has been incarcerated for nearly four years. Lang, through his new organization, Federal Watchdog, the Anti-Lawfare Group, is joined by an esteemed team of conservative attorneys, including Steven Metcalf, Anthony Sabatini, Stephanie Lambert, and Jonathan Gross. Together, they aim to expose the injustices faced by January 6 prisoners and secure much-needed restitution.
A Fight for Justice
The lawsuit, set to be filed on January 20, 2025, has already garnered widespread support, with over 100 prisoners signing on. This historic legal action seeks to compensate these individuals for the extensive harm inflicted by what they describe as a weaponized justice system. From the loss of generational family businesses, homes, and careers to the irreparable emotional and psychological damage suffered during years of wrongful incarceration, the plaintiffs are demanding accountability for the Federal Government’s actions.
Jake Lang, a prominent figure in the January 6 movement, emphasized the importance of this lawsuit, stating, “This isn’t just about restitution; it’s about setting a precedent. Weaponized government and lawfare against conservatives can never become the standard in America.”
A Two-Tiered Justice System
According to Federal Watchdog, the plaintiffs were “hunted down like animals” by the FBI for peacefully protesting at the Capitol on January 6, 2021. Many have faced harsh sentences, inadequate legal representation, and conditions that have worsened their physical and mental health. Critics argue this is a glaring example of a two-tiered justice system, one that has been particularly hostile to supporters of former President Donald Trump.
The lawsuit will highlight individual stories of suffering and resilience, aiming to illustrate the broad impact of the government’s actions. “The damage to children who have spent four years without their fathers at home cannot be put into monetary value,” Lang noted. “But we must being the healing process by holding those responsible for our unconstitutional cruel & unusual torture accountable!”

Female Murder Rate Plummets in Milei’s Argentina and You’ll Never Guess Why
https://freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/4286695/posts
What did happen after Milei closed the Ministry was that he also adopted a tough-on-crime posture. .. By some stroke of luck, cracking down on crime resulted in less crime. Lefties worldwide are scratching their heads at the news.
...
Just a quick drive-by post. On Christmas Day Dad was talking, on his own initiative, about nursing homes and assisted living. I reminded him of the possibility of home health care service. He asked me to look in to it.
I did yesterday and today he signed up with a company. He liked the product and Bob’s your uncle! I will be around as he gets started. Then, my step-sister will be on call.
Oh thank you, Jem. I was worried about her. I’m glad it was just a mini-stroke, and hope that’s the end of them. Thank you for sending our love and prayers to lysie.
Good news, Jem! Glad for your dad, and for the family. Sounds like a relief!
That’s quite the lawsuit.
Godspeed to them. Hopefully it doesn’t interfere with helpi...I mean funneling money through Ukraine for laundering.
Amazing. You lock up criminals and there’s less crime? What is this world coming to?
Oh, and let’s all remember to toast Sean Hannity (aka Hannitus Interruptus or Vannity) and Ainsley Earhardt who are now engaged. She looks forward to a lifetime of speaking only half a sentence.
Hokey schmokes.....that’s the afternoon? Wow.
“Washington state is absolutely beautiful.”
When people think of Washington State they think of the beautiful mountains on the West Side. But the state has a very diverse geological landscape. East of the Cascades and past Central Wa, where there are beautiful orchards, it is mostly desert until you get to Spokane just before the Idaho Border.

I think for it to work out the way things are intended, you won’t be posting untill the 31st regardless. Hopefully we won’t hit 10,000 before then.
It is a big relief for me. He makes his decisions and I made it clear that this was Dad’s decision and I had no need to be part of discussions. A friend and I worked on stuff that Dad needs done. I began cleaning mold out of his car and the friend was repairing Dad’s under-the-counter lights. But, wonder of wonders, Dad agreed to having Synergy provide him with 4 hours of care per day. I’ll contact the VA on Dad’s behalf and they will pay for 28 hours of care per week, which, as you know, is 4 hours per day. The caregiver will visit him on Monday and then begin providing care on Jan. 6. This is a big relief to me in several ways. First, Dad made the decision. Also, he wasn’t forced into it and all parts of it were explained to him. He signed the papers with no requirement for my signature. The friend witnessed this in that he was in the room. Dad gets to stay in his house — which is important to him. There may be a time when Dad needs more care. But for now, unless Dad and the caregiver completely clash, will enable us to continue working ourselves. As to the potential for a clash, I will be here during the initial adjustment period to hopefully mitigate any adverse situation.
LOL
Guilty as charged!
that kitty looks like me..
Green eyes and all!
As for me, I will be here a little longer. I went to the doc for a follow-up appointment. My hope was to have the stitches in my nose out, athough I wasn’t expecting it. My cold agglutinin disease causes my healing times to draw out to two and three times the length of “normal” people. There is progress being made, no infection, just slow progress.
I did discuss the vaseline usage with them. The nurses were quite clear. USE THE VASELINE. They also didn’t care about the doxy as there has been no infection.
“....home health care service”
I hope it works out better for him than it did me. I signed up for one of those, called “Home Instead” thinking they would come and clean my house. I didn’t need them to cook for me, or take me to the store, (which I found out would be extra cost for milage) They had a minimum of 3 days a week and 2 or 3 hours each day (can’t remember how many hours for sure) costing $500 for 2 weeks.
I would have to tell the person each time what I wanted done. I don’t need much done so it basically became just a companion thing which I don’t have a lot to talk about 1 day a month let alone 3 days a week for 2 hrs each.
I now have a lady that comes in once a month to vacuum and mop my floors for $50. If I need my kitchen throughly cleaned I can have her do that another time for $50.
My DIL had one of those organizations come in also and they were not happy with them.
I hope it works out for your dad, but be sure to keep an eye out on how much they actually do. If it ends up just mostly conversation/companion that is mighty expensive talk.
Do they have a “Meals on Wheels” program in the city where your father lives? I know they opperate in all 50 states. I am using their service that way I don’t have to cook much. It is basically free but if you want to donate they recommend
(at least here) $3 per meal. Lunch time only.
Well, that’s good news.
Yes, that is my prayer. This is a trial right now. He is getting a working car so they can run errands with him. He has a regular maid come in once a week. IMO, she isn’t very good, but he wants to keep her services because she really needs the money. Dad is like that. The woman is almost as old as he is, but wants to work and has worked for Dad for 20 years. The service went over what they can do and Dad told them what he wants help with. We’ll see.
Yes, thank you.
