My take. The drones are ours. Partly, testing against us to see what reactions they get. Plus testing systems. Air to ground. Ground to air. Etc. Some say Space Force. Smacks of arrogance, by not telling the public ANYTHING.
I would have stayed with my brother, but our sister and her 18 year old daughter needed housing. Makes sense.
I am treading water and looking for a more permanent home. Hotel/motel... no bueno. Cash monsters. I have the fortitude for tent camping, but at a wee young age of 67, I prefer spoiling myself when I can with the creature comforts of a modern industrial society, like 3 hots and a cot.
I have found a fairly nice rental house that is available in a high desert community nestled against the rugged pine topped mountains nearby, that I might make a move on... with a rent to own option. Wrapping fingers on the desk in contemplation.

When you said she was going to be getting those treatments I am like What the Heck!! That is an Hallucinogen.
True, Spunky, but it has had a lot of success in lower doses.
It can actually physically adjust the brain, and thereby relieve some of the damaged areas which cause the unwanted thoughts. The thing is, that it can heal the brain even though it is unpleasant going through with the treatments. Like magic mushrooms, you can have a “bad trip”, but still have some healing in your brain.
The problem with someone with ocd/anxiety is that once they have an unpleasant experience, they are too frightened to do it again. Natalie took 3 treatments, each one getting a little more frightening, so she stopped them. I don’t blame her.

This looks like a description of Biden‘s recent pardons and commutations. I wonder about the other more than 6000 to get to the number over 8000 on the list. Perhaps that number on the list is a mistake.
Thanks, Jem. I thought it would be as well. We’re just hoping that being away will have helped. She seems in better spirits some days - texted me yesterday to arrange what day we all want Christmas dinner so she can do a couple of tenderloins. She’s up and down. She also misses home so much.....that may help as well, kind of a new found appreciation. Sometimes we have to lose something (even temporarily) to value it more. It’s not that she didn’t appreciate and understand what a wonderful life she has, but maybe it will help.
Is there some way that access to current events can be lesssened? Maybe more farm activities, shopping, helping with wrapping presents and decorating for Christmas. Anything to keep her busy and away from the internet.
She has done that, Jem. She’s been completely off the news for awhile now. The problem is that her brain is actually damaged. It may be able to repair over time, I don’t know. When she has things to do and keeps busy, it does serve as a distraction, which is good. Comes a time though, that we all have to just relax and have our thoughts.....her thoughts, when not occupied with something else, default to fear and anxiety.
She is taking magnetic impulse treatments, which are also available here, so maybe, over time, they will help heal the brain.
