Gosh Judy, I’m so sorry to hear about Natalie. From my understanding of what I’ve read, she’s somewhere to get better? I had no idea all this could cause problems in one’s brain. I truly hope she’s getting better. I will add her to my prayers.
How is her husband and kids dealing with all this? And you?
My oldest son has been bipolar for years, he dan be so good and when he’s depressed it’s very hard to take. He unsuccessfully tried suicide a few years ago. He had a botched back surgery, doctors can’t fix, then broke his foot in 11 places. So living and trying to work with awful pain doesn’t help his situation.
I hope you all get to visit with Natalie often, and cope when she has a bad day. God bless you and family. 💞🙏

I don’t believe I’ve ever had Blue Bell. If I did it didn’t rock my socks like it does yoursz. I recall in Oklahoma Braums ice cream was the go to. In NE Ohio it was Handles.
I’ve become VERY fond of Tillamook products…cheese and icecream from up in Norskyland and Spunkyland. Its high fat contact makes it great.

So good to hear from you, Rusty! My dear girl.....if you’re already cold and sick of the weather, you’re in for a LONG winter. I’m so sorry to tell you this lol. As far as trying to adjust to it, fear not. It will give you plenty of time lol. Having said that, I’m 71 and have yet to adjust to it!
Gosh I’m sorry for your grandson....now if more people put those deer to proper use, we might not have so many accidents with them.
Those are adorable....my kids had the wagon with the red fencing, for when we strolled up and down our quiet, mostly empty, country road.
A meet-up sounds great! Somewhere warm with great antique stores and restaurants. And throw in a good massage or two.
Ha! Exactly. My daughter was disappointed she didn’t have any means to cut off the antlers for grandson to hang in his room, first kill. I told her I was disappointed we couldn’t eat it. Waste of a life.
Yes, some days I’m rethinking the move up here. My daughter said she was thinking Tennessee was a nice place to live. But when I think of the Texas heat that’s not alluring.
Medical pot never did much for me for pain.
I was stoned outta my gourd AND my back still hurt!
I never really liked it, and it was SO illegal when
I was coming into adulthood, that it made me super
paranoid and couldn’t enjoy the buzz from it.
It DOES have it’s usage, such as as “The munchie”
effect in patients who had a Failure to thrive, and
therefore made them hungry.
These were given in pill or gel caps, and under strict
control by us Med techs.
At the end of your shift, if you could not reconcile your
narcotics against the “count” at the end of your shift,
that was when the fun began.
If a narcotic was off count, and couldn’t be found. that
gave them the right to search you, your clothing and even your purse, etc.
Sometimes the police were called, and away they went.
I lost one pill when I dropped it,
and my charge nurse and I searched EVERYWHERE.
Come to find it had rolled up on its side,
waaaaaaay underneath the baseboard heating!
WHEW!
All that training has come in very handy
over the years when new meds were assigned to me and or hubby.
I’ve seen people, some young, some not
lose EVERYTHING they had over some of these drugs,

when my daughter was old enough(she’s now 49)to pedal, I bought her a red fire truck.
My wife thought I was nutz(still does).
I explained my daughter should have no constraints based on the fact she’s a girl.
My daughter has taken it to the nth degree.

The cold has finally made a come back
after all that warm weather we had.
Thanksgiving Day weather was HORRID!
Winter rain and sleet was raining sideways from the
wind, and THEN turned to snow.
Glad it was just hubby and me, here at home.
I wouldn’t have traveled ANYWHERE that day!

We have texting and calling....she’s in Florida. She always wanted a nice trip to Florida, just not this way. Matt is flying down this Friday to spend the weekend with her in a nearby town. We’re all pitching in at home here, but Matt, naturally, is doing the lion’s share. I’m doing some cooking and making some lunches.....kids are pitching in when they’re nagged, as usual lol.
Her brain has some severely damaged areas. Yes, if you spend too much time “doom-scrolling”, and getting scared and anxious because you are fully aware that global governments want to take away your source of income (meat producers) and make your farm worthless, you panic. She was terrified, because she kept digging deeper and deeper and realized that Trudeau was a WEF operative and they were actually implementing these plans. It’s not unlike MKUltra - you can program your brain if you spend enough time in fear. It sure makes us understand the Scripture about dwelling on what is holy, pure, lovely, etc. The mind will do as it is programmed to do, unless a conscience effort is made to change it. I guess that’s why kids raised in hate will wind up hating, unless they deliberately choose otherwise.
Having said that, she’s been undergoing full-throttle treatments. They were alarmed when they saw the pics of her brain - they said only two other people they saw were that bad, and they both ended their lives. Very scare for us - we were pretty much just working to keep her from harming herself before Matt took her down there.
She’s been doing magnetic impulse treatments (full setting) every day. Also has undergone two ketamine treatments (which she hates). She can’t stand feeling out of control, which makes sense because she’s never even had too much to drink in her life. This morning, however, Matt reported to me that she after her last session she felt some clarity - so possibly the ketamine treatments are starting to heal her brain.
It’s been a very long and difficult couple of years as she’s descended into such darkness and terror. I hope and pray she’s on the mend. Thank you so much for your prayers, Rusty. I very much appreciate everyone on our little thread being so faithful.
