BREAKING Sen. John Thune from South Dakota has been elected the new Senate Majority Leader.
Wow. I guess it’s clear that McConnell’s blackmail list has been passed along. I hope the vote becomes public....perhaps President Trump will make that happen in January.
Yeah, Scott got 13 votes on the first round and got eliminated.
Thune is a horrible choice.
Seems we are always fighting an uphill battle.
Now I wish Daschle had beaten him all those years ago.
I just pray that President Trump can slam through a bunch of recess appointments. A Senate that votes for Thune/Cornyn is not a Senate that will approve of most, if not all, of Trump’s picks.
Not thrilled with this outcome either, but Thune is probably better than Cornyn.
