The party that couldn’t pick a Jewish VP because it would piss off their voters wants you to believe Trump held a Nazi rally. We are living in the death of shame.

So true. Not only that, but their student base and university crowd are outright Hamassholes.

Took a nice fall stroll on the farm. The sun is shining, temps at about 60, beautiful colors.

I went and soaked up some sunshine as I visited with the piggies. The 5 babies are now ready to morph into lovely bacon, chops, ham and sausage very soon.

Then I sat and the leaves came down like crazy whenever there was a breeze kicked up. I was watching the Amish barn raisers across the street. They were hired to put up the new barn for the neighbors. So cute in their blue shirts, black pants, black suspenders, funny haircuts, and big work boots that all show because their pants are too short. They sure do work!

Nice break from the nasty political war that is going on - we’ve got one up here as well. So far they’ve revealed 4 MPs who are in cahoots with China. Supposedly there’s 11 of them. I’d be surprised if there were 11 of these libs and ndps who weren’t in cahoots with China. They’re all corrupt.

Oh believe me I’m not showing off any skills at all, if I take pictures of my French bread before I quickly put it in the food processor to destroy the evidence, you would laugh if you even thought that. I don’t know why but the no knead breads always turn out well. Why I don’t always use it I don’t know. Glutton for punishment I guess.

Found this, I guess it depends on what they are doing and how they need to rearrange it
Madison Square Garden has a seating capacity of approximately 20,000 for concerts and around 19,812 for basketball games. For hockey games, the capacity is about 18,006 spectators

Are you a cold butter lover as well?! I love the taste cold, I don’t really get the same flavor melted. Not as intense anyway. I got this cute little Gadget that puts out a thin ribbon of butter when you put a stick in it, it’s much better than my tearing the bread or ending up with just big Globs sporadically. Do you have one of those?

I didn’t know you were that close to an Amish community, how cute! Sounds like a lovely stroll.

Lol I overcame the problem of the big globs by slicing a strip near 1/4” thick, as if it’s cheese!

Having said that, you know the reason I rarely have a fresh loaf of homemade bread around.....I love those baguettes warmed up, sliced, with 1/4” of cold butter on them. Mmmmmmm. That’s why I never buy or make them lol.

There’s several Mennonite and Amish communities within about an hour, some even closer. When I shopped in Simcoe (20 minutes away) I used to see the Mennonite families frequently. Worst junk in their shopping carts you ever did see!

“Lol I overcame the problem of the big globs by slicing a strip near 1/4” thick, as if it’s cheese!”

Now that’s a pretty good solution!

“That’s why I never buy or make them lol.”

Awww, we only live once!!!

But obviously you’ll live longer than I will!

Junk - they eat junk food?

We have a couple Mennonite stores nearby. I’m not exactly sure where their community is.

I love the baking aisles, they have all sorts of unusual things. And ingredients to make all sorts of lovely Foods from scratch.

Unfortunately when I go those aisles are pretty empty. Or maybe it’s fortunate for me. But the aisles with their candy and cakes are full of people, it’s hard to even get a look at what they have.

Sad commentary on our society. And I guess it even affects the Amish and mennonites.

Yup. Crappy white bread, donuts, store-bought baked goods, etc. I suspect these are the more liberal Mennonites, as there are never horses and buggies outside.

Sounds like a lovely fall afternoon,Judy.

The only one who never seems to need a break from all this madness is Donald Trump, God bless him.
