WASHINGTON (Aug. 22, 2024) — 45th President Donald J. Trump will address the National Guard Association of the United States’ 146th General Conference & Exhibition Monday, Aug. 26, 2024.
The conference, which is the association’s annual business meeting, runs Friday through Monday at Huntington Place, the Motor City’s main convention center. More than 4,000 Guard officers, spouses and other guests are registered to attend.
In addition to association business, the conference agenda every year includes Pentagon leaders and lawmakers. During presidential election years, NGAUS also invites the Democrat and Republican nominees for president.
The association has hosted at least one major-party candidate in every presidential election year since 1992.
President Trump spoke to the association’s conference as a candidate for president in 2016.
“Members of the National Guard are more than defenders of democracy, we’re all participants,” said retired Maj. Gen. Francis M. McGinn, the NGAUS president. “We want to know how the next administration will support the National Guard and whether the Guard will continue its prominent role in the National Defense Strategy.
“We’re looking forward to hearing what President Trump has to say,” McGinn said.
The association also invited Vice President Kamala Harris, the Democratic nominee for president, to speak.

This year’s conference theme is The National Guard: Built to Defend America.
Started my military career in the Wisconsin Army National Guard in July 0f 1964. Spent just short of 25 years in the Army Guard (Wisconsin, Illinois and California) before taking my last promotion in the Army Reserve.
Walz disgusts me!
The association also invited Vice President Kamala Harris, “
I suppose they had to but her presence would soil the venue.
Considerably off subject, but how many know that Melania has written a memoir? It is titled “Melania” and will go on sale Oct 1.
It can be pre-ordered and is already a best seller in several of Amazon’s book categories, so an article says.
Amazon’s subject line is, “Melania is a compelling and inspirational memoir that offers a glimpse into the life of a remarkable woman who has navigated challenges with grace and determination.”
This may be an opportunity for her to make an appearance and endorse Trump.
What is sad and aggravating is you will not find 2 people who even know these people died because of Biden’s selfish incompetence.
Looks like CSPAN has started covering the July 13th hearings.
Newsmax & Fox now seem like they’ll be carrying RPOTUS.
Of course, there’s still RAV & RSBN
We will NEVER FORGET the 13 American heroes killed in Biden’s botched Afghanistan withdrawal — whose names Biden and Harris have never bothered to say out loud or acknowledged.

Expell the war mongers
Not a fight between republicans and democrats, but a fight between Freedom and Communism
Where was Joe and the Hoe?
Agree.
And, to officially endorse.
Are any Dem members of Congress, who served in the NG/military, ashamed of what this admin has done to our dear military???
Here comes Tulsi!
